I have been very pleased with Gold Star Property Restoration and all their divisions.
Gold Star came in and did moisture check. They only drilled out walls where it was needed. Put big blowers and a dehumidifier in my basement and left them for 4 days. They did another moisture check and removed the equipment. It was an insurance claim but still only did what was needed. I would use them if I didn't go through insurance because of this.
The contents people were amazing. I worked with Kelly and her team, and they were fabulous. The exterior team left a little to be desired. They were not as personable as Kelly and her team.
It took a long time to get the job done. It took over six months.
I am not likely to recommend Gold Star Property Restoration to a friend.
I worked with Gold Star for 10 months following a water line breaking and flooding my home. The Pros at Gold Star significantly reduced the stress and complexity involved with the repairs. My Project Manager, Arben, was highly professional and communicative throughout the whole process. The various contractors Gold Star coordinated inside my home were masters of their craft and had done exceptionally quality work.Thank you Gold Star/Arben for everything. I am grateful to be finished with the repairs and able to enjoy my home again!
They have the greatest worker I have ever seen. They don’t waste time, they get the job done and leave your house with no mess. Very clean crew.
They were wonderful. Josh, who ran the restoration, was great. I could call him whenever I had a question. If something wasn't being done right, I could call him that day. It was fantastic.
Gold Star Property Restoration was very professional.
You have problems with any company, but we were able to work through and resolve any problems. Will was understanding and easy to work with.
They were very thorough, right on time, and got the job done. They also cleaned up after themselves.
Gold Star Property Restoration was very responsive, thorough, and patient with us. I would highly recommend Gold Star Property Restoration.
The people I dealt with were very professional, and organized, and it's a professional company.
The contract states that they were going to do certain things that they didn't do. I was still charged for it.
They did a good job. They were very efficient. I am very happy with them.
They were great
The contractor, Steve, was great and thorough.
I was very happy with the service.
I thought it was bad. They weren't communicative, didn't show up or canceled at the last minute, and kept saying the lead technician wasn't in that day, so they couldn't come out. This probably happened about 6 times. They kept saying it was going to be their last day, but it turned into another week.
They did a great job. I was happy with the service. I have no complaints.
When we got to the work on the rebuild, it took a lot of time to coordinate. Joel, the project manager, is the best project manager I have ever worked with in my life. I have worked in life development work for 36 years, and I work with project managers in my day job all the time. I have never seen anyone as good or as professional as Joel. He has very strong communication skills and is very good at coordinating pieces. There were a lot of people and vendors and also keeping me in the loop to know where things were at. He was phenomenal as a project manager, and his people are extremely good. They enjoy working with him as well, and it shows in their work. They all did a great job and I cannot complain about anything. Joel goes above and beyond, and he is great to work with.
They did a good job!
I'm assuming I dealt with the partner/owner. There was communication there, but I would have to say it was subpar. We had good conversations, but as far as the actual project goes, I felt like he was throwing numbers at the insurance company to see what sticks.
Half rate work. I had to call them several times to get them back to finish the job. They were asking for payment before the job was completed. The work that they completed was very poor and half-rate.
When Gold Star came into my house it was pouring rain outside and they left all my stuff outside and it got rusted and damaged. I had to go to the doctor for nerves because of Gold Star. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, especially the crew I had. When they brought my china cabinet back inside, I told them my stuff was not damaged I didn't have any children, there were scratch marks all over it they said it was damaged they drug my leather floor on the ground. I told them I don't have time to go thru this stuff to see what's missing or not missing. She said you just have to take the check or nothing. They didn't give me a choice. I should have had the opportunity to go thru my stuff and see what was damaged and what wasn't damaged. I would never recommend them to anyone. I'm going to my insurance right now arguing with them about what happened because Gold Star didn't do a quality job. I had a one bedroom, 750 sq. feet and all my stuff got damaged. I don't have any children or a dog so why is my stuff messed up? I recommend that they get highly trained by someone. It's like I got somebody off the street to do it. I don't care for Gold Star. I took a loss. Gold Star didn't take down all my fixtures. All-State told me they should have taken down my fixtures. They should have taken down my light fixtures and TV. So I have to buy all new fixtures. They should have taken it out. I got so upset, I had put something down in my house, it got damaged. They rolled it up and it got damaged. There was mildew all over my stuff and they could have saved it. They only gave me a percentage back. They didn't have to leave my stuff outside. That's what I don't understand. Everything I had was in mint condition and now it's depreciated. I'm very disappointed.
