Expectation - My experience with Garman Homes absolutely lived up to the hype. They exceeded my expectations of building a house.

Additional Comments - I would just like to emphasize how great the staff was. For example, Danica makes you feel like she actually cares about you and the whole process you are going through with building a home. She just does things all the time that make you realize that she is thinking about you and where you are in the process.

They do excellent work.

The house is extremely well built and our project manager Trent was great to work with through out the build.

The folks are reliable and accountable to get the work done on time or earlier.

I have had experience with many homebuilders, and my Garman experience is by far above and beyond the others. Everyone on their team is amazing.

It was nice for the collection I bought in to not have to go to the studio where there is a potential to brake the budget. Like that there were still some options to upgrade and a la carte style options too.

We think Garman has good build quality, and like the fact that 2x6 lumber is used during construction. We would recommend this builder..

The whole process has been great! We were nervous that we weren't going to get a lot with the whole first come first serve email situation but that actually was very easy. Everyone did a good job at communicating--and once we were in the house Richard was great at letting us know what to look for or how to upkeep our house. That was very helpful especially as first time homeowners.

We had a wonderful experience with Garman Homes. Their workflow and process really helped us to simplify the building process. We were living in Charlotte, North Carolina at the time, so we were not local, and it was in the beginning of Covid. With all the moving parts, they worked with us in a beautiful way, and we could not be happier with our build.

I had a great experience building with Garman! I would highly recommend them to a friend! A lot of my friends that were building at the same time had long delays due to supply issues and we closed on time as promised!

From start to finish, our experience with Garman was great. If we had to point to one thing, it was the responsiveness of the team members that impressed us the most. Any questions, concerns or issues we had were addressed promptly and thoroughly. This occurred during all phases of the process, including after we moved in. Other things that were beneficial: the knowledge of the staff, the vendors selected to perform the work and the attention to detail.

I would not let Garman Homes build me a dog house.

My experience was great, from pre-build to build to post-build.

This really has been a nightmare to move into a house that was unsafe.

I have a pregnant wife and 2 small children and I can’t believe the level of disrepair that my Brand New house was in the day I moved in.

Here we are two months after I signed the contract and they still have not fixed everything.

It is very difficult to live this way. I am highly displeased.

Everyone was so pleasant and happy to help anytime an issue came up big or small. I love my home! The quality is great and don’t forget the amount of included features , which would have easily been upgrades with other builders. Also shout out to the design team, I purchased a spec home . Some of the selections I wouldn’t have personally picked given I would have had options but I love everything that was picked out and the amount of upgrades for the interior selections was a nice bonus.

I am very pleased with Garman, especially considering my home was built in the first year of the pandemic and was warrantied in the second year of the pandemic. Wow! I have told my friends about this experience, and they say that they have not heard from their other friends of that level of commitment and service from other builders. Garman is exceptional. You made building and buying a brand new home very easy and not scary. I felt very comfortable and confident that my home would be ready and well built on time. And the level of care and follow-up after purchasing was also an amazing bonus!

Garman finished our home on-time and we’re very supportive throughout the construction phase. The quality of our home is very good to excellent in every way. Chris Tickle and Richard Keebler were both great.

Garman is great.

This was our first time buying a new home and it was a pretty easy and fun experience.

As a first-time home buyer, I had no idea what to expect or what was supposed to happen, but I haven't got a single complaint and would go through this process with Garman again so that has to count for something! Everyone is down to Earth and I don't think I heard "no" a single time.

Overall I am glad I was able to purchase a home in this neighborhood however I would have lreferred it been a different builder.

One thing my wife and I constantly talk about is how we really appreciate how the house and garage is set up on the lot. With all the individual details, you don't expect to see how well it all comes together. The details indicated, when they were building, how they took care and considered placement of things, such as "If I put this here what would that do?". Nothing looks slapped together. It was all carefully done. My wife and I couldn't be happier!

Garman Homes has been very helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I have had multiple people throughout the process who have checked in on me, which is especially helpful since I am a first time home buyer.

Based on our initial interactions with their real estate team, there were a couple of situations where it was hesitant, and they were not honest with us. During the construction process we notified the construction team that there were several things which were not in keeping with the North Carolina building code, but not with grading and drainage. They were generally good practices. They were not using good practices regarding grading, regardless of keeping with the code. I am a professional engineer in the State of North Carolina. With reviewing these items with the warranty team, I had similar issues with honestly and responsiveness to our questions and concerns.

I am glad about their response to everything I was concerned about. They were very transparent and clear. I am happy with everything.

All of the people we had contact with was great. Danica gave us great ideas of how we could make our visions come true with the Playlist Collection. Will was great throughout the building process keeping us informed and following up on questions that we had to help ease our mind. After the designing process he made everything seem seamless. Today I met Wayne and he is delightful very informative and was able to answer several questions to help put our minds at ease. Wayne helped us feel very confident in Garman with their building and warranty process.
