We are 100 percent happy with David's team, especially the siding crew lead Walter. His team did an excellent job replacing the whole siding on my house. David helped us to pick a great color to make it completely beautiful!!We will definitely use David again for any future siding/window/roof related projects. We feel lucky to have found such honest contractor and they truly are the ones I want to keep doing business with and best wishes to them!

These are the best team of people we have ever worked with. The crew was great,neat and clean.

They did a really great job. It was a great service, and I am pleased with the outcome.

This is the second home that they have done for us. First Rate Remodeling is the only contractor that we would ever use.

David was extremely knowledgable and explained in minut detail every step of the installation process. Weather becam a factor in getting the job completed but he was sure to explain why we should not rush the completion giving things time to dry out. His painting crew was top notch as were the gutter installers. I couldn't be any happier with the outcome.

They showed exceptional care throughout the whole project. Their workmanship is excellent. They are fully aware of the James Hardie products and the specifications. The owner visits the job site while the work is going on and that is wonderful. They are great listeners and communicate well.

David explained things very detail and managed this project as if this is his own house, the team leader Walter is phenomenal as well, we had a very pleasant experience working with this team, they are trustworthy professionals you can depend on to finish the job. Additional Comments - I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently my siding was installed. First Rate was a pleasure to work with. And although we had a bit of a delay with the painting due to weather, once the weather cleared they did an excellent paint job also. I am very pleased with the result!

They used my ac unit to run their power tools and it blew the transformer in my unit outside. They did not tell me. I did not know for a week why my heat would not come on. I asked David if they had to disconnect my unit and he said "no". When I told him what happened he said that they did that in the past and he told them not to and he reimbursed me for the cost to fix my unit.

Decision Making Factor - If they uncovered any rotten plywood while removing the siding, the first (2) 4 x 8' sheets of plywood would be free. None of the other companies (and there were five of them) mentioned this. First Rate had the best price and every step of the process was explained in detail. Top of the line paint and caulk was used.

David and his team provided complete siding replacement on our home. This included tearing down existing siding, disposal, repair of any hidden problems with underlayment, bedmolding, and wood. They then wrapped the house with hardiewrap and taped all the seams. They installed hardie trim on all vertical pieces. They flashed and even repaired some window wood that was rotten. This is my first review, and I felt so compelled to give David and his team kudos for the work they did! The job was done beautifully, and they went above and beyond my expectations - which is difficult to do, since my husband and I are very thorough on our research and have high expectations. David is a true gift in the business - a trustworthy, reputable gentleman who has a great working relationship with his crew. He provided his expertise and professional opinion - never overselling us or going against our wishes. As all projects have their challenges, and life is not perfect, this project had a few minor issues that had to be dealt with, but what I love about David is his responsiveness. Whenever anything came up, he was always on the ball and ready to handle it. I never felt like he was putting my project or me on the back burner. As a matter of fact, he made me feel as if ours was his only project (and his most important one), even though we obviously were not his only project. Thank you, thank you, thank you, David and First Rate Siding!

We had a fabulous experience having our siding installed. David and his crew are meticulous and cut no corners. The details they pointed out in our planning process far surpassed any other contractors that bid on the job. Our experience even half way through the siding job was so impressive that we decided to have David install new windows in our entire home as well.

David is a pleasant person and he provides good work. We would use First Rate Siding and Roofing Specialists again if we had the chance and we would recommend them to others.

First Rate siding exceeded expectations. There was no back pedaling or renegotiating the contract for a complete job. The owner and sub contractors were all very honest and took pride in their work. It was a big job and bucking bad weather but they made it all work.
