When a roof project sale is based on a specific pest proof vent fan, that fan OUGHT TO SHOW UP at the job sight, not a cheaper much louder fan with a thermostat that does not work and no pest prevention grid/metal wire fabric at all. This is simple (left hand does not know what the right hand is doing stuff)

One of the electrical wires was cut along with a wall support board in the attic while a sheet of plywood was being replaced.
