The work was done on time in a professional manner. The job site was left clean with no issues.

While the actual roofing work was done very well and timely, the crew damaged window shutters and a screen on my house. I was promised that they would replace the shutters and also fix a piece of my siding. Even after a reminder call to them, they never showed up after promising both times they would come and fix the issues.

I had a very good experience and I highly recommend them.

Upon arriving to do an estimate of roof replacement, the owner, (Doug Evansen), did a thorough search of my home from top to bottom to determine why my roof was leaking. He spent two hours investigating to make sure the initial cause was rectified before replacing my roof. The other two estimates I petitioned did not even come into my home. Doug Evansen asked all the right questions and that is why I hired him.

We solicited a number of quotes and Earl was the only one who brought up the fact that our gutters could overflow since we are converting from cedar roof shake to architectural roof shingles. You expect transparency from your doctor, shouldn't you expect the same for once in a quarter century purchase?

They did a great job--timely, honest, and it looks good. The other thing I appreciate is that the owner who came over to give an estimate went above and beyond, in my opinion, in giving the estimate. He was up in the attic checking on a leaky skylight, and I really appreciate that. All other referrals I had come over to give an estimate--they never went up there, and he volunteered and went on up.

An outstanding experience. One day install with attention to detail. The crew was fantastic, arriving at 7am and attacking the job and making our refoof project easy and quick! The roof looks great, we made the right choice out of the many options available. Pricing was very reasonable toward, the lower end of 7 estimates that had a variance of roughly 7,000 dollars. Doug is very professional and knowledgeable, someone to be trusted!

Great experience with Evansen Builders. They did our roofing job. They were reliable, timely, and provided quality workmanship. They were also reasonably priced.

Our house was, by general agreement, a challenge. It had a deteriorating roof which had been improperly installed to begin with.Gutters and downspouts were inadequate, resulting in damage to the cedar siding.The chimney was covered by fake veneer stone which was allowing leaking and had to be removed and replaced by siding. The old log part of our house was also damaged due to improper flashing. All estimates we received addressed some of the problems, but not all. For example, some roofers would do the roofing, but no demolition or replacement of siding. Some would do the demolition but no repair to the older logs, etc. Evansen Builders simply said they would do what was necessary to replace the roof and repair the damage. And they did. They installed a new asphalt roof on the main house, a new rubber roof over a flat section with new skylights. The stone on the chimney was removed and the chimney was wrapped in new siding. All damaged siding was removed and replaced, and adequate gutters and downspouts were installed. Where the old logs could not be repaired new siding was installed. This was a job which required expertise in roofing, carpentry, masonry, and demolition, and Evansen was more than up for the challenge. We have a new roof and repaired home with which we are very happy and have received many compliments. This is the second time I used Evansen Builders for a roofing job as they replaced a roof for us on this house approximately 20 years ago. Replacing a roof is a costly investment for a home owner and we had three different roofing estimates to choose from. Doug's proposal was the most thorough as to what his crew would do, and his price was within our budget. The job sight was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the day and we were very satisfied with the work when the job was completed.
