The installation crew was prompt and explained everything. When something came up, they were able to troubleshoot, and they kept in contact with me. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a leak afterward from a rainstorm, and they came out and fixed that as well.
I paid $18K for the gutters and now I'm experiencing 2 problem areas regarding the install. I called and 2 employees were sent to address the problems. I was informed there's nothing they can do about acts of nature. Leaves and debris is going to get stuck in the gutters. That's not what I was told by the Salesman. All of the people who sold me these gutters are no longer with the company.
The sales rep was extremely polite and professional, he said something about a military discount which I am not sure we actually received? The coordination between myself and the scheduling department was a little rocky as at first they could not get in touch with me, then it seemed weird getting them here, even though it did work out. The job site persons were very friendly and helpful to work with, but the left a lot of screws in the driveway that left us with three flat tires before we realized what was happening. The end product is fantastic though and what we really needed. I would recommend this to everyone who wants a maintenance free gutter!
They did a great job on my house.
We need to have someone check some of the installation of the rain gutters. The corner drain in the backyard is not properly installed. Close to the same area according to a maintenance worker that checked things for us. Also in that corner area where it has the drop down drain, hardly any rain comes down that drain, probably because it needs to be adjusted. The 2 drains right next to the garage doors, might create a problem, especially in the winter time when there is snow melting, we probably will get ice & someone could fall & get injured. What I am wondering about is do the rain gutters have a wide enough opening for the rain to go in the drains instead of just going over the gutters. I just don't know anything for sure, we just need someone to check things out. I called leaf guard a couple of times & didn't get a response.
Would like things checked out. We would appreciate it.
The system they sell is of the highest quality. Many gutter systems are good but in my opinion the helmet makes sense.
They said the gutters would stop my driveway from flooding, but they didn't.
Whole experience was a mess. First tech told us the repair would be covered under warranty and there wouldn’t be a charge. Then three more visits created three different quotes without any ability to tell us why they were different. Followed up by the install appointment when literally 25% of Houston didn’t have power and they were surprised we didn’t have power. I also asked multiple times (and showed a video) of a corner piece of a previously installed gutter massively overflowing during a rain storm. Apparently that couldn’t be rectified when the crew installing a gutter 30 feet away was here because warranty claims had a different process than new claims. Lastly the admin at the office was rude to my wife on the phone for no apparent reason other than the LeafGuard office had misplaced the paperwork.
I like the product but think it was too expensive. After further consideration, I could have had a few gutters replaced as necessary and had a filtering system installed for much less. The difference could have paid for many cleanings over the years.
LeafGuard did a professional job when they installed my guttering.
Responsive, timely, quality.
Way over priced for what you get. I understand now why they don’t clog. They don’t catch anything including rain. Been back once to make adjustments but haven’t had a good rain to see of it helped.
Very pleasant and professional experience
Significant delays in installation, issue with install.
I was not happy with the configuration of the gutters. They changed them from what they were originally, and they are not as good.
My experience with the LeafGuard team was exceptional. I actually had two presentations as there was a lapse of time between my first presentation and purchase. The LeafGuard team made sure that I was satisfied with my original selection and made any necessary adjustments. My installation was actually done the very next day. The installation team was on time, went over my selections and was able to complete the job in just a few hours. I was completely satisfied.
We were very happy with the way they looked and the results. We appreciated how they cleaned up after themselves and solved any issues we had.
The gutters look great, but in practice, the water comes over the side of them and ends up splashing the foundation of the house. Also, the installation with Leafguard is expensive. When I look back at the old gutters I had, they were hard to clean, but they kept water from splashing on my home. The new gutters are great, but the water splashes. When a lot of water fills up in the gutters, it overflows the lip and, as a result, splashes over the foundation.
The reason I did not give a 10 is because the gutter system was on for a year and the outside of it got dirty. It looks crummy so I put up an extension ladder and scrubbed it by hand so it would look good.
Leafguard of New Hampshire is very expensive, but it is good quality and done well.
They were all so friendly. We had several delays due to not starting construction for up to a year. LeafGuard continued to call us, always using a friendly voice and with a wonderful attitude about our delays. They came on a day that was best for us and on their schedule. The installation crew put the gutters up in a timely manner. Prior to leaving, the lead installer walked around the job with us, reviewing the gutters and answering all of our questions. He remembered he wanted to tighten a screw in a particular section of the gutters. He stopped the review, ran and got a ladder, and immediately tightened that screw. Then we continued walking around the house, finishing the review. My husband and I were impressed with his work ethic.
Thank you. I don’t rate anything a 10.
They were very thorough.
I was told things would be done that were not, for example that the 2x6 would be cut back to reduce water exposure and rot- they were not. A bunch of mulch etc was also left on the roof after it came out of old gutters, and the problem area was not fully fixed.
One of the leaders that comes down doesn't seem to flow with the trim at the corner of the house. It is aligned more with another downspout or gutter drain. It just seems odd, at the front of the house, to have the gutter coming down and not following the corner trim piece. It's off by about a foot.
