Initially, the warranty that was promised was not what I got. I had to make a couple of calls to figure out what was going on and how I could get what I was promised. Eventually, after a couple of weeks, I did get a better warranty. However, it is not the platinum one that I was promised. The workers made the area surrounding the house very dirty, so I had to contact the office to get them to clean it. They still didn't really clean it.
The guys did a great job. They were fast and cleaned up after themselves.
The installation crew was great and the office staff was helpful when I called. I would have appreciated more proactive communication from the office (or salesperson). I had to call to confirm names of the people showing up, who and how to pay, paperwork, etc. I didn't appreciate the sales person who kept 'calling' his manager to negotiate a better price for the project. When the measurer came out to validate the window sizes, we realized that there was 1 window that was new(er) and didn't need to be replaced. Elor sent the sales person back out to our house (instead of talking over the phone) to 'adjust' the price. He did the same 'negotiation' tactic of calling his manager and saying he could only lower the price of the project by $300 to remove 1 full window from the project, and wouldn't leave a quote or change request in writing. I got a handwritten piece of notebook paper with the new cost. He also said that to keep the same price, I'd have to downgrade the quality of the windows. I've worked at finance companies and home improvement companies and know that this wasn't right. I told him that I'd evaluate my options, including cancellation of the entire project, and called the office later that day. The office manager *quickly* divided the total project cost by the number of windows and removed the per window cost for the change in scope. My decision to recommend Elor Energy to someone else will depend on whether they're able to negotiate and know how to conduct a home sales project. I wouldn't recommend to anyone elderly.
I am more than 100% satisfied with Elor Energy and would recommend them to anyone and everyone! From the first measuring appointment to installation was approximately 30 days which is unheard of in this industry AND this was at Christmas time AND n the middle of a pandemic. We are so grateful for everyone on the Elor team! Because of the tenant's unique needs and physical challenges, there was no time to waste and everyone at Elor went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The windows are beautiful. I will definitely use Elor Energy in the future. One last thing -- it's been less than a month since installation and I can't tell you how many emails and phone calls I received requesting a customer satisfaction survey. One or two requests are fine but I feel like I'm being bombarded.
They're very nice, reliable, and diligent. The only reason I rated 4 stars was that the price was more than I would have expected had I not been told.
Great company. Seems genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction.
We had our house painted, and they did an excellent job.
From beginning to end, everyone has been professional and knowledgeable. Great customer service!
I already have.
Foreman Sammy always kept me in the loop for the entire 3 day installation.
They were very professional.
Elor was super-involved every step of the way while we got our house coated/painted, from when we signed to contract all the way until weeks later after the work was done. A nice phone call every couple of days to check up on the progress, and they were always responsive to any calls of questions we had. Shout out to the contractor team led by Marco that did the painting - they did an EXCELLENT job, and were so professional and friendly we knew we were in good hands. Thanks for everything!!!
I am extremely happy with the service, communication, and product provided and installed by Elor. They put in sliding patio doors, they look great and have really helped keep my house cool during the very hot weather we are currently experiencing in San Diego.
Elor Energy is an outstanding company to work with and their communication is outstanding.
Marco was the lead on my house and he was great. The entire crew was polite and hardworking, professional yet friendly. My old house was in desperate need of your services and it is a delight to see it now. Elor Energy Inc was the only company willing to take on my unique and difficult home and I am very pleased you found me and improved my home so drastically. We had Elor install new windows and coat the outside and we love it all. The windows block noise and are more secure than what we had before. The texture coat is amazing and beautiful. Well worth the price!!!
Elor Energy Inc did a good job.
Value Received - I think it was very expensive.
While the sales pitch seemed a bit lengthy, the installation went well and the windows are great,
Contractor Knowledge - We did have a bit of confusion between the salesperson and the person measuring, but we got it all worked out.
The crews are professional, timely, efficient, and organized!
Problem Resolution - N/A - There were no problems. The only concern is the financing part. They need to improve that. The work is done well, but the procedure on the procurement side is not done well at all. It was not communicated effectively as well as sending letters on a timely basis.
Appointments & Meetings - Let customers know if they are going to come on that day within a reasonable window of time, nit at the end of the day.
I originally gave 5 stars the first time I filled out this survey. But Elor has continued to pester me about these reviews and surveys, as well as excessively contacted me after the job was completed to receive payment when I had made it clear when and how payment would be made. They did a great job on my project, and I love my new roof. It looks great, functions perfectly, and the job was completed on time, with a friendly crew who kept everything clean.
Communication - Too much communication.
Communication - Didn’t always know when the crew was coming.
Clean & Safe - Patio furnishings were left out in the elements unprotected.
Schedule - Delays doe to weather but also took a week to get the paint.
Quality Of Workmanship - There's still a few things they need to take care of.
Areas For Improvement - They fell short with the minor finishing work.
The crew was very professional and curtious and did great work, I would highly recommend Elor Energy to everyone.
Elor Energy was very easy to work with. Dusan was easy to communicate with and was always available, as we needed him.
The crew was awesome. They waited for me to do the final inspection, to do a walk through with me. Any discretions that arose, they fixed right then and there.
Communication - I don't speak Spanish, but we did ok.
Quality Of Materials - Today I am very satisfied, so I give it a four but ask me a year from now. We will see what happens.
Clean & Safe - They left nails and screws in my lava rocks, and that is really bad. I have dogs and kids, and they should have cleaned that up.
Appointments & Meetings - Elor Energy showed up for appointments, but they didn't tell me when they were going to show up. I never knew what time they were going to show up.
Areas For Improvement - Elor Energy fell short of my expectations by leaving the nails and screws in the lava rock, that was really bad. That was really a downer for me. I had a hard time speaking with the Hispanics. It would have been nice to have someone there to fill in the communication gaps when the job first got started.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Elor Energy came out and did the job for what I consider to be a pretty fair price. It wasn't an easy job because they had to change out a lot of wood. They had to make the same kind of wood that I had at my house, and they did a superb job. You can't tell the difference in the old wood and new wood at all.
