Overall we had an outstanding experience with the house
Remodeling with EG Stoltzfus was the right decision. The quick and professional progress made living through a renovation worthwhile. The end result was an amazing new kitchen and bathroom addition. I couldn’t be happier with their work.
The team at EG stayed on schedule and did high quality work on our home!
Andy Lebo is the best project manager! He is very helpful with design suggestions and goes the extra mile to help out when needed. He even jumped in an helped with some demo when help was limited. He also helped guide Justin the sight manager through some difficult planning decisions to keep our job on track. Justin Kimmit was a good site manager and did a great job for his first time managing a remodel. Can't say enough good things about these two!
They were great from the start helping me design my dream home. It went smooth. I am happy with my home.
Great experience. Only found minor issues in the walkthrough/post construction, which were resolved very timely. Happy with quality of workmanship. Great products and materials used in house.
Wanted them in and out!
They lost a star due to the adequate (but not good) work of two subs.
overall, I was happy with the subcontractors and the design process
From the beginning stages to the final Walk through, every professional we worked with at EG listened to our needs, stayed on schedule, and had quality workmanship. We can’t be more pleased with our remodel. It’s beautiful!
They are very professional, very nice to deal with and they provide high quality work.
Scratched deckboards were initially installed and took 3 weeks to receive in replacement boards. The boards that were received were the incorrect boards. Communication from Dave Wells was very poor and we felt that we were the project manager for our deck. We had to call the supplier to get to the bottom of why the scratched deckboards were delivered. We also dealt with multiple sub-contractors and took their questions because they were not able to get ahold of Dave after multiple attempts. I spoke with Bill Patrick on the EGS leadership team about our concerns regarding the customer service we received and he was condescending and unapologetic, refusing to take the blame. He blamed it on the fact that my wife and I were working from home, which allowed us to see how poor their project management skills really are. We are satisfied with the way the deck looks, but would not recommend EGS based on their poor customer service and lack of communication throughout the entire process and also their inability to take the blame where they clearly dropped the ball.
EG Stolzfus custom home building is second to none. This is the second home we have buillt and they do a wonderful job.
This project went very well. We were informed of every step, all of our questions were answered in a timely manor and the project was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule. All of the subcontractors were courteous, friendly and helpful.
An all around great experience. We felt comfortable using EGStoltzfus to do your patio, because they had built our home and had all the blue prints on hand to do the design. They were also willing to work with us to get the project within our price range, but still provide an incredible finished project. I would recommend them to anyone considering a patio as an addition to his or her current home.
They were great to work with and provided exceptional service throughout the project. They stayed on schedule 98% of the time and were finished when promised.
Throughout the process of remodeling, all involved parties were always available, promptly responding to our calls, and acted professionally at all time with high quality knowledge and expertise.
No construction project ever goes perfectly. It is not the problems that crop up that determine whether a company is worth doing business with again but rather how well those problems are handled. EG Stoltzfus has handled everything under their control (e.g. the weather) admirably! They exceeded all my expectations and already plan to work with them on more projects.
You all are the best! Our kitchen looks great.
Andy and Dave were a pleasure to work with. Andy's design was spot on and required minimal revision after we spoke about our wants for our basement and wine room. He helped us navigate material choices and together with Nora from Horizon Kitchens came up with a design that we loved for everything. We could not be happier with the choices we made together now that everything is completed. Dave was wonderful to deal with. He always answered questions and addressed concerns promptly. The project was completed ahead of schedule. We would recommend EG Stoltzfus, Andy, and Dave without any reservations.
After initially building our home for us, this is the third, remodeling project EG has completed for us. We continue to be very pleased with EG's knowledge, professionalism, thoroughness, and follow-up.
Over the years, we've worked with several remodeling contractors and EGStolzfus is by far the best. They were always professional and made us feel like our project was important to them too. They performed high quality work in a timely fashion.
EGStoltzfus did an excellent job on the basement finishing and remodel project. They were thorough during all phases of the project from preliminary conceptual design, pre-construction walk through, construction, to final finish stage. I highly recommend considering them for remodeling projects!
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of EGStoltzfus Custom Homes & Remodeling as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
