At this point through the process I would likely recommend Eddy Homes however, the real proof is when the house is completed and within the 1st year of ownership to evaluate the quality of the home .
This was our first time building a house, and I expected the design process to be a lot more stressful than it actually was. The highly professional sales and design staff made this whole process easy and enjoyable. Everyone so far has been excellent to work with, and I am very pleased with the progress on our build. We are looking forward to seeing our finished product, but we know that the quality is going to be outstanding and that we are going to get exactly what we wanted.
Our house is currently in the mechanical installation phase. We found the sales team, settlement team, and project manager to be highly professional, friendly, and extremely responsive to our questions.
Overall Eddy Homes did a good job. We had some issues during the process, like the lots being measured incorrectly which forced us to switch lots. But once we resolved the issues we ended up with a very nice home.
Spread sheets for addendums were too hard to follow. Entirely too long for Eddy to get back to us on costs for pricing of upgrades with design.
Please give us 6 months to properly answer this question.
Eddy homes has processes in place to ensure a smooth transaction. The home is wonderful and we are satisfied with our experience.
It's a quality organization.
Overall we are very pleased with the look and quality of our new home.
Absolutely! We were very pleased with the process and the end result. The team worked closely with us throughout and was responsive. We love our house!
Eddy Homes built a new home for us. We hoped that a “Luxury Custom Builder” with 49 years of experience would result in “high standards for quality craftsmanship, personal service, and integrity.”
We paid a Luxury Price. For that we received: An untimely delivery. Substandard workmanship. Deficient repairs. Lots of excuses…
Our home was built with NUMEROUS and SIGNIFICANT DEFECTS. Dealing with Eddy Homes and their vendors was a consistently bad experience. Some issues were not fixed properly after repeated visits. Some issues were not fixed at all and we paid for repairs on our own.
Merriam-Webster provides the definition of Luxury as a condition of abundance or great ease and comfort.
Eddy homes provided us with abundant excuses, delays, and incompetent workmanship.
Great ease and comfort came after hiring someone else to fix their mistakes.
They've done a professional job so far. They just started but the initial process has been fine.
Very good people at Eddy Homes. Everyone is very qualified and customer oriented.
Yes, we would.
I could not be happier with the end result. John Moritz has a first-class organization. I am extremely happy with the design process and the counsel and support throughout the process. We have had wonderful people to deal with. I never felt that we were left out on an island. I feel that Eddy Homes is very approachable and this will help us in any future time.
Eddy Homes has grown too fast and they don't have the processes or skilled workforce to build the number of homes their building every year. The owners of the company do not appear to be attentive to the client's needs.
Additional Comments - So far we have been impressed and pleased by the professionalism and organization of Eddy Homes as they have assisted us in this home buying process.
Just make sure time lines are addressed. Read contract thoroughly. And in retrospect we should not have closed before house was completed to our satisfaction. We spent extra money( > $5000) to complete things so our parents could move in.
We purchased a "Spec" Home from Eddy Homes, therefore we did not pick out any options with a sales manager or design manager but everything that came with the house was perfect. My wife and I got to see the options for our home at the Eddy Home Display center in McMurray and my wife liked each option that the designers picked for our home. Also our realtor, Linda was very helpful in getting things done at our new home.
Additional Comments - Overall we are very happy with the home and the neighborhood; we meet a few neighbors and they have been very nice. Our project manager was very helpful and promptly responded to any questions or concerns.
The home is of excellent quality and what we expected. The only problem was that was that we expected to be in a lot sooner. As a result we were faced with some financial problems.
Comments - It is great to work with the staff at EDDY Homes
They build a nice house and are flexible.
Our Design Consultant and Project Manager EXCEEDED every expection we had. We highly recommend Eddy Homes.
Closing Satisfaction - Very high quality home, very pleased with Eddy Homes
Eddy Homes product is excellent. Probably one of the best on the market
Had portion of exterior home painted. Very pleased. Company was professional and prompt. Responded quickly to emails and began work on time. Would definitely use again. Thanks Fresh Coats,Joseph
I first saw a Scarmazzi Home three years ago. After seeing the design and workmanship, my husband and I decided that we would sell our home and downsize. The entire building process from choosing the lot, deciding on finishes, and the actual building was just as promised. My husband and I just love... more
Work done right. The old saying that you get what you pay for is certainly true when it comes to Fresh Coat. Not the cheapest of my quotes. BUT, the one that I trusted the most. Very happy.
Town and Country was punctual and on time. Tim had put gutters on my house years before, and I knew he would do a fine job on the roof. I was not disappointed. He went above and beyond. I am totally satisfied.

GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Eddy Homes as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
