DryMaster failed to supply our insurance company with the written estimate for our restoration even after numerous phone calls. Very poor customer service!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Installers did not have the materials on hand to start the job..The worker had to run to Home Depot to pick up materials. Some orders for materials had to be ordered ,delaying the installation for days and a week. They had to return to finish the job. Other than the delays ,the work was done professionally.
DryMaster was a pleasure to work with.
I still feel we have a future issue with peeling paint. The insurance company selected the contractors and paid It is said the i have a warranty on the ob done;but if problems extend past the the warranty period I will look to the insurance carrier for a solution if the work and material used was not of like quality and kind of which was removed and replaced. The policy does not provided for warranty limitation on the ob done. Alacrity was none existend as to the `job. I think they called once and I did not know who they were.
What made them an outstanding company was the quality of the people they had. They had very little turnover, and everyone knew their jobs. They weren't short term employees; they're long term employees. They've been there for years.
Drymaster should stick to drying-out after leaks or pipe bursts. They have no business being in Construction business. It took them nearly 5 months to work on a job that they initially told me would take 4-6 weeks. They couldn't even estimate correctly. They had to submit several additional charges to State Farm due to their inability to create strong estimates which then created problems with my bank since I have a mortgage. Checks were sent to me and to Wells Fargo and its a process to deposit each check that takes upward of 30-45 minutes and the bank began questioning why so many checks are being issued. Next, DryMaster didn't explain that they hire sub-contractors and those sub-contractors are sub-par at best..the only thing that was done right were the floors and while I stayed within the budget given, they ended-up up-charging me over $1000 for the installation which was not mentioned to me and in fact I was told that I could choose whatever flooring I wanted and then they hit me with the up-charge. They had to pay extra for a licensed electrician to come out to help with lights that were built-into a cabinet that had been removed and put back since their subcontractor could not figure it out and then the subcontractor covered-up the cable outlet when they replaced the cabinet. The insurance had to step-in and deal with me since so many things went wrong and paid for cable company to come out. My family lived in a hotel for 4 1/2 months during this time. At the end I hired a handy man who was excellent to redo a lot of their work. I have been through 2 remodels working with contractors so I know that these contractors are only as good as their team and this was a horrific experience. I hired them because I was told that State Farm would guarantee the work for 5 years and that DryMaster would take care of everything. This was FALSE I had to be on the premises all the time to check on the work being done and sending pictures to Drymaster of the work that was done poorly done. Then the project manager at DryMaster had the nerve to tell me that I "made money on this deal" he was absolutely wrong and how dare he have the nerve to say that when this has been a horrific experience and I did not go into this trying to make money. If that was the case, I would have taken the lump some and hired my own people which in the end is what I should have done. DON'T HIRE THEM
The DryMaster staff were all friendly, courteous and did a top job.
As long OC dust-free is no longer their subcontractor.
I have used them many times and the service has always been excellent.
Josh Bastian was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable and patient. He was always available to answer any questions, he explained things in layman terms so I would understand everything. Josh's charter was such a breath of fresh air. In the severity of things he did not take advantage of anything. Sam's assistance also was incredibly professional and guided me throughout the process. Also the worker, Alvaro was the one moving the contents and he did a meticulous job. I would recommend them for sure to anyone. They are all very professional.
Dry Master has performed the work on four losses for us. They are polite, courteous and will call ahead if unable to make the appointed time for reschedule. I use Dry Master and refer friends and clients as well.
Additional Comments - They came quickly on a weekend. start working right away.
Drymaster is one of my favorite companies to work with! When we had water damage in our home, Drymaster was so responsive, punctual and professional. Everything was done so neatly, clean and no issues or delays.
DryMaster is the best company I have ever worked with hands down!
Josh and Sam were incredible and professional. They took as much time as needed to clearly explain the process that would be going on. They answered all my calls and continuously kept me informed of the next step. Albaro, the worker, was extremely patient when going through the walkthrough with me and explained everything.
Have used them many times as HOA board president, and personally as well. Always superior service
The employees who remove wet stuff, dry, clean and treat are exceptional! The plumber staff are gast and skilled However, the contractors they hire for reconstruction are variable in terms of experience and skills. The contracted reconstruction guys in general barely speak English and have problems understanding the job. Their work has been both excellent and not great, depending on the person.
Hunter the plumber did an outstanding job. He showed up on time, showed me what happened, fixed the problem, and recommended follow-up work to avoid having additional problems in the near future. The drywall folks were also professional, timely and courteous. I was very happy with the experience, and will use them again if needed.
I've used DryMaster several times and refer out every chance I get.
They do get the job done.
The work was done professionally and within a reasonable amount of time. The customer service team followed up and kept me updated on the status of the job and the next steps. A couple of times I felt that there was a slight communication disconnect between the service people and the customer service team and also received a couple of calls from CS that didn't fit my situations (CS: "How are the fans working", me: "You haven't set them up yet, pending asbestos testing", CS: "Oh, sorry, we'll call back")The testing and Asbestos abatement was very professional and thorough. Everything happened very quickly and they worked well with my insurance company. I would recommend the company for dry out. They did not push their repair services and I didn't push the issue and found my own person for wall repair.
they know what they r doing..
I would give them a ten on everything if I could. They did an amazing job. Met our expectations and even exceeded them. I am 100% satisfied.
Area For Improvement - None, so far.
Area Of Satisfaction - The workers were great, good at what they did, and followed thru on every committment.
Additional Comments - We are very pleased with the work done and happy that our Liberty Mutual worked thru Alacrity and brought inDryMaster to do the work.
