I would recommend the quality of work but would not recommend agreeing to the billing at the end. We were billed for work that wasn't performed.
The company treated me and my home with respect. We had pine wood floors removed and replaced with new pine wood floors. Demo was handled wonderfully, including the removal and eventual re-setting of a large kitchen island. Overall, the work was great though going through 3 project managers on a 3 week job was problematic for me. Until Tom became my contact, I did not have a person to go to with questions/concerns. When we get to the subcontracted floor crew, we have a few issues. I did not have a chance to see the bob on site so it was difficult to get answers or discuss the work being done, such as imperfections in the wood used in the floor. These were not addressed prior to finishing, they were filled with putty after the fact, leaving many noticeable imperfections. The floor itself was installed great, but I wonder why imperfect pieces of wood were used when we had some many pieces left over.
They took too long. They came, they did not do anything, they said they were coming and did not come—things like that.
We found DEAS Builder professional in every aspect of what our home project required. They maintained complete contact with us throughout the entire project. Finishing the project in a timely matter and fulfilled our concerns and requests. Would highly recommend them...
I was most satisfied with their professionalism.
I have already recommend them.
Everyone at Deas was very pleasant to work with. They were very helpful when I had questions and very knowledgeable. They did a fantastic job on my home, and I am so happy to be back in my *new* home.
They were very professional and on time. If they were going to be 2 or 3 minutes late, they would call me and let me know.
I would give the mold remediation team a four. From the experience of the restoration, I'd give that a one.
They sent to my house my hero, my knight in shining armor, David Cook. He came when I was dealing with a lot of difficult situations. He took care of it and got it done. I have been in my house 54 years and have dealt with many companies, but I am most happy with Deas Builder & Remodelers, Inc. from beginning to end.
I just don't want anyone to deal with them ever again! It was the worst experience!
If they are recommended see someone else. The office staff is nice, but the contractors that come to you house are awful.
The name of the game for the builder is cut costs and make things chip. Be prepared to become your own Forman and be on top of everything since the builder, although has an assigned manager, will not visit the site and make sure workman does what he has to do.
They were courteous and professional.
Deas did a good job, they were very courteous, and answered all of my questions.
The employees showed up and did the right work but the superintendent always complained about nothing. I called the office and complained and when the superintendent called me back, he said that I was not supposed to call the office but he never calls me back when I call him.
Deas was selected by AlllState Insurance to provide Project Management service for my repair needs. Deas did not review the quality of the work of its vendors, thus leaving the homeowner to be the sole evaluator of the work performed. Most of the work was sloppily performed and required the vendors to re-do the work. The inconvenience to the homeowner could have been avoided if Deas would have reviewed the initial work.
Over all it was a good experience. Deas repaired one item that broke and replaced one item that was lost.
They are very good. The quality of their workmanship is excellent. I am very pleased with them.
they were a good company very courteous did job well.
Area Of Satisfaction - They just started the demolition, so I haven't had much experience with it.
