This was my first time working with a restoration company after damage to my home. I had no idea what to expect, but DC Restoration was wonderful to work with. They communicated continuously with me throughout the process and made sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. While I hope to never have to deal with something like this again, I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to DC Restoration for help.

During a very stressful and emotional event of my broken water heater, DC Restoration stepped up and took care of everything for me. They were great at explaining things too. The repairs are great! The Superintendent was exceptional, keeping me fully appraised and inspected all the work as it was performed. Honest and straight forward, i appreciated their diligence.

As my rating suggests, I could not be more pleased with DC Restoration. J.R. Stewart was the Supervisor for my restoration job. He was in touch with me before, during and after the job. He was always professional and helpful. The crew he sent were incredibly efficient, yet meticulous. I couldn't believe how good everything looked when they were finished.
They were exceptional! They were very professional, very easy to work with and the workmanship that was provided was excellent!
Everyone was very courteous and understanding. I felt like they were very concerned about me not having a home. Everyone was extra nice, especially Don, he went out of his way to be nice.

I was disappointed with the customer service I received at DC Restoration. The contracted employees did a good job, however, the representative that I was in contact with from DC Restoration was short and condescending to every time we spoke. They did not keep track of what work was done and what wasn't done. They argued with me that half of the work was done and appeared to assume that perhaps because I was a woman that I must not know what I was talking about when I said it wasn't done. They had some kind of issue with a former employee who didn't keep very good records and realized the work had not been done, however, this particular employee still didn't apologize or concede that he was completely wrong. Eventually the work got done and the contractors did a good job but I didn't appreciate how I was treated by their representative.

I didn't have any problems. I thought they were nice young men. There is always something that will go array, so I tried to keep that in mind. They did a good job.
I would never ever use this company and I would never recommend the company. The communication is poor and the consistency is horrible. The things that the company did are even worse. There is stuff leaking and my water heater is not working. This is a company I would never recommend for anyone to use.
The managers and personnel doing the work were very cooperative and helpful. Some subcontractors had to return to re-do or correct their work, but most of it was redone well and on time.
They did some extra things for me, such as put extra shelving in my cupboards.
I was impressed with the communication and work by each of the DC Restoration teams. We had one hiccup during the work which was quickly resolved as soon as the issue was brought to their attention. DC Restoration kept me informed throughout the entire process. The floors look great and I am very pleased with the knowledge that our home is mold-free thanks to the thorough inspections performed by DC Restoration.
