Damage Control basically contract everything out to other vendors. I have had to lock my credit reports as I've had someone try to apply for credit on 9-21 and home depot notified me. The pack out company broke my 1350.00 king bed, 1696.00 85 inch TV, 850.00 highback sitting chair, my art all jas scratches on them, my end bench to my bed is scratched up, my tiles had something dropped on it and has huge intentions in them. My wedding ring and three watches are missing from my wooden box in my closet. They have refused to give me insurance carrier. I honestly think they hire people with no background checks. Im having to get a lawyer just to get my items replaced as they blame me. But the put 3 king mattresses as well as box springs atop my bed in master and it stripped the screws so they only screwed back in sideways and halfway and some screws not at all. My 85 inch tv just displays lines and was new. The flooring guy had to come back out as the had the coset holders held together with a rubber band. I was never given a walk through of my home when they finished. They just disappeared. Im baffled that my insurance company recommended them. If they are recommended do yourself a favor and go with your own choice .
Damage Control, LLC was the best!
Our experience with Damage Control was excellent.
They did a great job. They came in on time, they cleaned up well, and in a timely manner. I had no problem with them.
Very professional, on time, and willing to go the extra mile.
They were professional and thorough.
Through this whole process they have been unprofessional and unreliable.
I used Damage Control about 6 years ago and had a great experience with them. So when a tree limb came through my roof during a hail storm and flooded my living room I called them. The mitigation crew was promptly on scene and did a great job cleaning up the mess. It went down hill from there. I had two different crews come in, one to do the repairs and one to do the asbestos abatement. There were unnecessary delays due to lack of communication and lack of follow-up between the different crews. There was a delay in the asbestos removal for example because whoever did the measurements for the estimate forgot or didn't know to tell the supervisor that I lived in a townhouse whiçh has different rules requiring having a form filed with the County and a 10 day waiting period. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge. It took over a month to get the work done and that was with me having to call or email to keep things moving along. I let them put a lockbox on the door so I didn't have to take time off work to let them in. After the job was done, it took over three weeks and multiple reminders for them to come remove it. The work done was good but the problems involved in getting it done wasn't worth it.
