On December 9, 2024, Brian Milne provided me with an original estimate for services totaling $14,000, plus an additional $3,000 in interest, bringing the total to $17,000. I initially declined the offer.
At my request, Mr. Milne returned on February 5, 2025, and contacted the Service Finance Company LLC on my behalf. During that interaction, I noticed the interest rate displayed was 0%. When I questioned this, Mr. Milne assured me that the interest was already included in the $17,000 total. Based on that understanding, I agreed to proceed.
However, on May 25, 2025, I received a call from the financing company reminding me that my first payment would be due on June 1st. During that call, I inquired about the interest rate and was informed that my loan qualified for a 0% interest rate. I was surprised and asked why the financed amount was $17,000 instead of $14,000. The agent advised me to follow up with the company directly regarding the $3,000 discrepancy.
As of today, Current Home owes me $3,000. I have made multiple attempts to reach Brian Milne, but he has not returned any of my calls or provided a response.
