Based on my research they are one of the top recommended James Hardie installers in the area. Their price was competitive with the others I had bid on the job. The installers were conscientious and asked questions to make sure we were happy with the install. My brother is a retired carpenter and commented on the quality of the work. Overall happy with the result.

Everyone I worked with was exceptional! The salesperson I worked with in the beginning of the project was great and everyone during the construction phase was great. Everybody just did a great job and the project turned out looking pretty awesome. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I would, and will, highly recommend Craftman's Choice whenever I can.

We had a great overall experience with Craftsman's Choice. We really appreciated how the project manager was the one who met us and talked over details about our project, rather than a separate sales person who would need to check with someone else about our questions and get back to us, as we experienced with other companies. We had a bid from another company that wasn't willing to make our box bay plan happen, so we were really grateful that Craftsman's Choice made our vision possible. Warren was great to work with, and the construction crew were always helpful and respectful--with having our three kids at home throughout the project, we liked not having to worry about vulgar language or other issues. It was a big project, with having all of our windows and siding replaced, as well as some updates, and the bulk of the project was completed in a well-organized, timely manner.

They are a professional, quality company. If you want your work to be well-done then hire these folks. They are quality through and through and not at all like the fly by night companies that exist. Come by my house and see what they did. We are the envy of the neighborhood and now everyone is fixing up their property. Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about them.

Craftsmans Choice did a great job from start to finish! Communication was awesome! Fair priced and great people to work with from sales rep, to crews, to project manager! Keith LaClair was our sales rep and he did a great job going over all our design ideas for our project. The crew were clean and timely, and our project manager Steve was great to work with.

We had high expectations, and all were met or exceeded. We were very happy with the result and with all our interactions with managers and crew/team members. There was great attention to detail, perfect responsiveness to any questions or concerns we had along the way, and we felt that we were treated with courtesy throughout the entire process. Everyone at Craftman's choice has been amazing to work with. Very professional - they told us every aspect, when the project was going to start and when there was an issue they communicated right away. We changed our mind probably 10 times during the whole process and Matt Enfield (the salesperson we worked with) was very patient each time. I had some concerns about the old painting in the garage showing up with the changes. Their crew came up and painted the whole door. We did our roof, siding and windows with them. In each case, they did an excellent job. A few neighbors stopped by to tell me the quality of work that they did. I cannot thank them enough and wish all the best to this business. They are one of the best in the Twin Cities in what they do. If you need work done on your roof, windows or siding, call them and you will be a satisfied customer

Great communication and workmanship from the beginning to the end of my Hardie siding project. From sales to project management to siding installers, painters, and stone masons - all were professional and did excellent work. I appreciated that when the inevitable unexpected small issues or repairs popped up, Craftsman's Choice made the adjustments or corrected the problem without tacking on additional fees. There should be at least one worker on the job that speaks English for communication. I think concerning electrical and power lines, things like that should be done carefully, with an electrician or professional on the job site.

The product is wonderful, James Hardy siding is phenomenal, but the quality of labor is not.

Up to now I've always handled my own home repairs but my age and the extent of the work needed on this house forced me to seek professional help. I wanted to improve the quality of our home and I believe the James Hardie siding and fiberglass Marvin windows are a big improvement over the vinyl siding and vinyl windows we took out-not only in appearance but the energy savings have been dramatic. The siding crew was top notch, I like how they consulted us when there were optional ways to do things. Extensive rot repair caused by the builder's shortcuts were accomplished at less than half the cost my wife and I were expecting. The window crew did a fine job as well but there are two that have defects and Marvin's repairmen are really slow to respond. I was going to ask Craftsman's Choice if we could hold a couple thousand back until the windows are serviced but on their own they said they would not invoice us for the final 50% of the window cost until the repairs are complete-again we have been amazed at the high level of customer service this firm offers.

From top to bottom the organization and the quality of work was exceptional. We were amazed that they even worked when the weather was not so great. Communications were great and we actually got our project done long before we expected. I highly recommend them for any project you might be considering.

We selected Craftsman's Choice because they were professional and capable of handling all aspects of our project. The installations for the siding and window/doors were efficient and extremely well done and the contractors were excellent and we are just anticipating the completion of the rock to give the whole project a thumbs up.

Considering a project of this nature is certainly not cheap. But once deciding to move forward, the last thing you want to worry about is the quality of workmanship for money spent. Without question, all of the contacts that we have had with Craftsmans Choice and the performed work were quite frankly, second to none. Very professional at all levels while maintaining the business plan that the job is not complete until the customer is completely satisfied. This is one group that, once retained, you will never have to worry that the job will get done at the highest standard of care and customer service.

Great work and done ahead of schedule! all my neighbors are still dealing with contractor issues and have little progress on their hail damage repairs. Very reputable and transparent, hard to find these days.
