I would not recommend Copeland Construction, they took over 6 months to complete a portion of the task. They only evaluated my outside doors. I still have the interior that needs to be evaluated and fixed. He came out with my first adjuster and he was rude, cursed, and stomped around and stepped on things. I hadn't picked up anything. It was a mess from when the thieves came in. I had a second adjuster come out and measure again. In December they came to replace the doors and had the wrong sizes. They didn't even ask me what style of doors I wanted. He said if you have windows inthe doors, that's a sure way to get broken into. They took so long. The first guy, I don't know if he was high or drunk, but he broke the window ledge and the frame in the mudroom. When he left for the day, he left the openings for the door handles and the locks. Someone could put their hand in there and just open the door. I stayed up for 48 hours, so I could stay safe. I had no where else to go .They were supposed to come the next day and didn't come. They came two days later to put the locks on the doors. A couple of the wokers did a decent job, Ponce and Wilmur. They were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. The others left messes and paint on my floors. They told me to clean it. I have a joint disease and I am disabled. I hired a house keeper and she chouldn't get it off. They did the doors on the coldest days in December. My gas bill as over $400.00. I had to get help to pay it. That was more than double what I usually pay. That was very upsetting. The other workers they sent was incapable. He couldn't bend over or neal, I can't either, but I'm not replacing doors. I called Scott, and he said your house is 100 years old, it's fragile. I said no, if you swing a hammer at wall it will break. He was cursing and rude. I reamained calm, I said when you finigh the back doors I am done. State Farm will have to get someone else. I am not happy with the work at all. The doors stick and the locks are tight. I can't open them, I have arthritis in my hands. They made the one frame was too small and the door wouldn't fit. Instead of reaplacing th trim they spent three days taking off pieces of wood. They also destroyed the threshold. They didn't want to run out and get something else. It's chipping paint off and looks bad. It looks wonky on the deck. The door handle on the storm door isn't working. I am not happy with it. I am moving, but I'm trying to sell the house and it's not functioning right.
They provided good quality workmanship in a timely manner.
Friendly, well organized and efficient approach to scheduling and performing project work.
I would use them again.
Bad business. Don’t waste your time. I wanted them to fix my issues: replacing leaking jacuzzi tub with a regular tub, following with needed tile for that, and renew ceiling (dry wall and paint) in room downstairs due to jacuzzi tub leak. Scott Hamilton gave me an estimate for ceiling and recommended a plumber: Jerry with Norman Plumbing, said he was the one Copeland Construction uses on regular basis. The deal was: after plumber replaces the tub, they would take care the rest. But… recommend plumber took half a year saying he’s about to start, and sane every few weeks when I call. And he never did. And Copeland Construction never called to check with me ether. Seems like neither of them were interested or care at all. I consider it disrespectful and harmful to waist someone’s time.
When my patience and time ran out, I got a great recommendation from my realtor. My new Constraction company started job after 2 weeks of my agreement, and they did all job in just two and a half days with high quality results. So who ever is reading my review, be aware.
Copeland Construction was very willing to work with me regarding changes along the way and they seemed very driven to make me a satisfied customer.
Scott and the people are extremely contentious and respond to messages. I would definitely use them in the future.
Copeland Construction were very professional and kind. They exceeded our expectations. Copeland worked really hard to get us back in our house before the estimated finish date. They were very easy to work with. I definitely will use them for any future needs that we may have!
I have another place that I personally own and will have Copeland Construction come out to give me an estimate. I will probably use them again.
Copeland Construction did an absolutely wonderful job. You are going to have bumps in the road because of different subcontractors and there are a lot people working together, but overall they did a really good job.
Our experience of working with Copeland Construction was wonderful. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and friendly. They were respectful of the property and our neighbors as well. We look forward to working with them in the future and are happy to recommend them to our friends and family.
They did a very good job. They were very courteous and if I showed them something, they fixed it. I have no complaints with them at all.
It took multiple tries to complete my home project warranting supervisory oversight to solve the problem of the leak from my skylight/roof. The length of time it took to complete from start to finish was frustrating. I did appreciate the office staff and roofing construction supervisor, however, I was not as confident with the contracted staff who implemented the roofing repair.
Copeland took care of all the scheduling overlaps with the people working so that the total job got done without having to wait and the job got done with minimal down time. I was kept informed as what was going on and what would be the next step in the total job and when it should start taking into account not only the sub-contractors but my schedule also.
I have used Copeland Construction for 30 years!
They worked with my insurance company adjuster and worked well with the water damage clean up crew to get my house back to where I was and to get as much back for my insurance.
The first trim carpenter did a great job but it all went down hill from there. The paint crew was, in my opinion, the worst crew ever! My overall opinion of them was that they were unprofessional, unreliable, and irresponsible. I would never recommend this company based on my experience.
They did a really good job.
I was impressed from the being to the end. They handled the insurance and they made sure the bids got to were they needed to. They went out of their way to make sure everything was done correct. I would highly recommend them.
They were courteous, the worksite was kept clean and we were very happy with the end results.
I found the Copeland Construction staff and subcontractors to be professional, courteous and thorough.
Scott was great to work with.
They are a very professional company.
They were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone.
I was very satisfied, they went above and beyond. Their work crew and Corky bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone.
What I most appreciated was the pleasant attitude that I encountered daily. They always advised me of extras as I requested them. They were helpful in the design phase as to what made sense and what would a waste of money.
This is my second home that I've had re-roofed with them and they did a great job. They came out on the weekend to give me a quote and to start some of the work. They were very prompt in responding to all of my needs. I was very pleased with their service and I'm very happy with the end result.
Fresh Coat Painters did a fantastic job in our home! Our home is updated and looks new. We especially appreciated the fact that they made every effort to ensure that we were pleased with the job they did. We love their work! We will have them come again in the future.
