Very family oriented, coaches are so good with the kids.
All kids are included in the games whether good or not so good players.

When are you going to get our area a Y like all other areas. Very few classes. No gym equipment. We were all told we we would get a new building when Highland closed but I GUESS NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE CLEARWATER AREA. Such a disappointment. How can you recommend?
The classes that I love to take aren't offer anymore or the outfit virtual like cardio drumming and the time is in just not work for me. And in order to work with the weights or get on machines or water I have to go to other places. I am very disappointed in the fact that you're still made up your mind nor shared with us when or if you're going to rebuild and where.Your YMCA family, have been waiting for a few years to know which way you are going I'm not sure if you're going to be there anymore Not enough live instructors too many virtual classes don't mind some but don't like all to be vulture. Love the people that work there they are great. But those that are in charge of planning does a very bad job at keeping us informed as to what is happening and what is not going to happen. God bless you all
Classes are awesome, great instructors,
Great instructors
I love to take the classes.
Things really fell apart this summer when we lost all the Silver Sneakers aerobic instructors. Tom was the best in terms of upbeat music and an invigorating class; Suzi was good too, although not quite as upbeat and energizing as Tom. But they both provided us with good aerobic exercise. Then Tom quit and Suzi had to leave for several months to deal with a family matter. Neither was replaced at all for the whole summer, which was completely unacceptable to me. Jennifer attempted to lead an aerobics class, but it was really designed for people who were fairly disabled, in my opinion, such as residents of rehab facilities. The Y members who had attended Tom's and Suzi's classes did not fall into that category, and so that class was discontinued after only 1 month. We also had a lot of virtual classes during the summer because there was no instructor. I found that the Y staff did not select these videos carefully to be similar to the classes they were replacing. Sometimes they would put on a 25 min. video to replace a 45 min. class, or a class that was way too hard, like a Les Mills class doing burpees to replace a Silver Sneakers aerobic class. What??? As a very active senior, I really need daily exercise to keep moving, but my needs are not really being met anymore at the Y, so I've started going to Morton Plant's Wellness Center a lot, which I'm very happy with. I still come to the Y for chair yoga, esp. Sabrena's bc she doesn't treat us as elderly, infirm or disabled. Her classes are very challenging, and you should see the smiles on the faces of all of us old ladies when her class is over! One more thing: The group exercise room is barely big enough in the summer when the snowbirds are gone. In the winter, I've not been able to go to some classes because they were filled to capacity. This is very upsetting. I don't understand why you didn't make the group exercise room larger when you expanded the Y into the adjoining storefront. This problem really needs to be addressed. Thank you for asking and hopefully reading my response to your survey.
Les Mills offerings. Early AM options.
Offer cardio equipment and weights
Variety of different offerings. Great instructors. Atmosphere is excellent. Made many friends through the years of belonging that go beyond the Y.
The are very few teachers at the highland Y. Too much virtual. No one listens to the members
Variety of classes
Get rid of the virtual classes. Put back the yoga classes you removed. What? Power zone room at extra cost?
Clearwater Y has very little to offer
People are friendly. Good quality instructors.
Cycling great. Going to try stretching class. Need weight room.
Ever since the y moved to la belle plaza, A lot of classes and instructors have left. A lot of classes are virtual which has led me to look at other facilities. Staff is amazing. The senior activities are good but would like more. Miss having the pool!!!
I like working with a group of like-minded people. And the motivation provided by the trainers is totally necessary for me. The variety of classes gives me a nice choice of exercises to work the whole body. Thank you for being there and keeping things going for us.
My son really enjoyed camp. I feel that it was very well organized and communicatioon was great. He enjoyed going to the pool, the dinasour world field trip as well.
Chair Yoga and your excellent staff and teachers.
The persons working there are very nice. The volunteers do a great job. I enjoy chair yoga and game day.
I was very happy that you would take the kiddos to outings and interact with the public. My son had a blast!
Great field trips. Kept my son happy every day.
