After investing in what I considered a Varsity design/build experience, I found the Classic process delivered a JV result.

Company's work is great. Crew is good to work with and extremely meticulous.
That said, as I recommend your company I would let customers know that communication of expectations and follow up communication is not the greatest and continued pursuit of answers will be needed.

I recommend them every time I hear that someone is looking to have some remodeling work done.

Project management is sub par and the project has been plagued with delays that were often due to late ordering of components and not enough staffing. The owner of the company does not seem to be involved and other during the sales process, we have not heard or seen him. Well over one and a half years ago.

This is a very difficult time for construction projects because of labor shortages, price increases and supply chain problems. We ended up spending a lot more than we originally budgeted, and it took 9 months longer than anticipated, but in the end we are very pleased. The quality of workmanship is like no other, Classic Remodeling prides itself on perfection, which is why the project took so long to complete. Matt was a great communicator and kept me informed through the entire project. He went above and beyond to get our "punch list" completed. We are very happy with our new deck, pool, pergola, outdoor shower and balcony! I will recommend them to friends.

We managed our remodel remotely. Over the duration Christy (our designer) was in daily contact with us. From project start with design and materials selection, through installation and finish - on time - Christy sent us daily progression pictures, answered our questions immediately, worked with us to make slight modifications, and assured the job completed, despite a few unforeseen issues that caused us to have to make more sizable modifications. Additional Comments - I contacted Classic to help me take care of a tree that was pushing up against my brick wall in my garden. Throughout the long process to get this done, I was very glad and thankful to have Classic Remodeling come into my historic home and help me get it looking updated. I love my new tankless hot water heater and my newly updated kitchen. Not once but twice Bob and Classic Remodeling was able to work my families home on Seabrook Island into their very busy schedule when I needed a few things taken care of. After hurricane Matthew, on first day that contractors were allowed on the island, Bob was out at the house walking the home and climbing on the roof looking for damage. This was no easy task since the power was cut to the island and the hurricane shutters were still down. Since the home is right on the ocean I was worried that we had damage that I couldn't see. Thankfully we only had minor damage and Bob knew what we needed and got his team back out at the house when the parts that were ordered came in. I feel very thankful that I found Classic Remodeling to help me take care of my home.
