The product (window) is great, but everything associated with getting the product is greatly underwhelming. From ordering, shipping and installation, there were massive delays and multiple inquiries that were ignored repeatedly. It took 37 weeks to complete a job that I was told would take 20-26 weeks. Then the installation crew did a good job, except for one issue and then no showed when they were scheduled to fix it. Supremely underwhelmed overall with Champion service. Their product is good, but all other discombobulated business functions around that good product make it a moot point.
Champion products are excellent quality.
No question, I will give Champion in Lexington my highest recommendation to anyone who is looking to replace their windows!
They installed my sunroom 2 months before scheduled time which I was delighted. Jason and his helper always cleaned up their mess left everything neat and worked persistently until the job was done which was 4 days. Remarkable work I am very pleased.
We would recommend Champion to anyone needing new window . Zac, our salesperson and Pierre our installer were both great
The worst experience I've ever had! I was promised 10 weeks max to get windows. It took 30 weeks. I was promised premium windows. Not even close! Vinyl welds that keep the screens from fully closing. There was no insulation around the frames and just a small line of foam along the outside of the frame. I was promised all rotted wood in the frames would be replaced. That was a lie as one of the missing sills was not replaced. I called multiple times asking where my windows were, but never got a single damned call back. What good is the lifetime warranty if the company ignores customers? Nothing!
Our job is still not done almost a month later. The work that was done is not good.
It will take me a couple of months to see how it affects my electric bill before I can truly recommend.
No, became we ordered customize doors and received standard doors
The opening was too large and they had to reframe it
This made the trim too small
We now have wide trim that doesn't match the window trim
Contractors were fast efficient and did a great job.
Excellent service and product!
I had a wonderful experience all the way around with everyone involved with my windows from day one. Eric Spalding was great at explaining and demonstrating the windows.
I would recommend Champion windows to anyone looking for replacement windows.
The reason that I will not recommend Champion is that the experience needs some work. Our sales person came out and was great, BUT he was more interested in talking to us about anything else other than the windows that needed to be ordered. He ordered one window when there should of been 2 windows for the install. So that set us back immediately. Then, I tried to reach our salesperson to talk about our order and I NEVER was responded to. I later found out this salesperson was no longer working for Champion and no one reached out to me to let me know if there was a new salesperson or anything. I had to reach out to a Office Manager to get things rolling again. I have to say that once I reached out to the Office Manager, everything started to get ordered and going like it should have been in the first place. During the order process though, I tried to reach out to the regional sales manager several times and I never got anything back. I was contacted at each milestone of the project to get money though. For us, it just felt like as the customer, we were not taken care of through the process.
Overall completely happy with the finished product.
Champion Windows came the date and time they planned with me. Their work was professional. and they had all the proper tools and ample materials for installing my windows. Their measurements were exact and fit perfectly. I was very pleased with their work. and how Champion Windows improved the beauty of my house
I cannot in good faith recommend this company because of the issues described below. If and when the problems are resolved, I might change my mind!
Work took almost a full year to replace 6 windows. took them 4 separate trips to finally get their measurements right. Then once the job was finally completed ( which they do not open properly ) they harassed me that exact day, calling up to 10:00pm to get me to sign off on the job!
No, because of the way I was treated between the sale & installation. No one cared that there was a time limit on the loan that expired by the time the windows were finally ready. The first installation date was canceled without my knowledge because the signed extension to the loan was not sent to loan company.
Windows yes … others not so much
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family or friends. Everyone from our sales rep to install crew were great!
Was on schedule. Kept worksite clean, only complaint was interior finish work on curved trim
There are stains that need to be fixed and I told them that. They told us that they would contact us and they didn't do it. If you lower the top window, the bugs still come in. I told them that, and they said they made a note of it. I like the windows because they are probably good windows.
The installation part was great, but my sales experience was horrible. After the local salesman came to my home I was still undecided. A few days later I was contacted by what I thought was my local salesman since he didn't identify who he was. I signed a contract with Jacob after he told me that Eric would get credit for the sale. This was a lie. Jacob then messed up the contract so bad that my project was put on hold. Jacob didn't even know my project was on hold until I told him. After I let him know how upset I was Jacob stopped communicating with me completely. I had to call the corporate office and work with the installation manager Robert. After that my project finally started to move forward. I believe the online salesman contacting me was unethical and sneaky.
Have already left Google reviews.
We are very satisfied with our windows!
Not pleased with sales person (don't like being lied too), Install crew was wonderful.
I highly recommend Champion Windows.
They did a super job. They were nice, cleaned up well, and I'm highly satisfied.
They were very professional and fast.
Champion Windows of Lexington has wonderful customer service and a wonderful sales team.
I would recommend Champion Windows.
I was told all the windows I ordered had came in. One 3 panel window was no where to be found. I called and left messages for 3 weeks with supervisors and never had one person reach out to me. After three weeks of “looking for the window” they finally reordered it, which took another 3 weeks. Not only was the customer service terrible, I had to have a huge window on the front of the house without blinds for almost two months and completely mismatched from my newly installed windows. I expected much more from such a long, good standing, reputable company. I was hoping to get what I paid for. Champion windows are not the best deal by far but I went with them because I trusted their name. That was a mistake. I was going to be a returning customer because I still need 5 more windows for the back of the house. I didn’t even get an apology from champion. I’ll use my hard earned money on a company that cares.
Windows are not the quality demonstrated by salesman. Installation was substandard.
Sales rep gave us a bad first impression when we had to resign contacts twice due to things he forgot and didn’t tell us. Put the entire project behind and it ended up being 5 months late from original estimate. Hard to communicate with office staff on issues and delays. Door itself is nice now that it’s in (besides install issues we had) but we would have to say we would have used another company if we had to do it over again. Would not recommend.
Simply because of placing an order in October of 2021 and having that installation completed by 21, April 2023. The patio door was not door originally ordered and has lower efficiency rating than windows with mods having to be made due to poor design. Also GreenSky wanting to charge interest on purchase that had not been completed. 12 month same as cash but install took longer than 12 months. Also all the traffic of Champion folks to home having to rework, modify or re order. Also not being able to speak to anyone that had authority to get anything done or at least let us know what was occurring.
Great company, very knowledgeable employees
Everyone, from the salesman to the installation crew, did outstanding work.
Took almost a year complete my project. Dog door was supposed to be low to the ground like the dog door in my previous back door but the new one was put in too high.
Not at the present
I am not likely to recommend Champion Windows of Lexington to a friend, nor an associate. I value my friends and associate very much. So much that their safety will always be a priority. Safety is not what Champion Windows of Lexington provided me with. As on a early Saturday morning unscheduled, Champion Windows of Lexington sent several unmarked vehicles to my home to work on my windows at 7:45 a.m. again this was not a scheduled meeting, nor did the individuals have any professional markings indicating that they are or with Champion. Even if they did (Champion) contract out as understandably most business do, they for one will contact the consumer and let them know of their appointment date and time as well as provide professionals serving as a representative of said business with some sort of logo/documentation stating who they are etc.
This was by far the worst experience we have ever had with any business. The project was not completed in over 2 years. After ordering in Oct. 2020 and not hearing anything, I had to call them in March 2021 to get the install started. I was told they would be happy to install because my windows were sitting in their warehouse taking up room. At that point one large window was not complete. After waiting until July 2021 for the remaining window and all the missing parts from the original install, I, once again, had to initiate contact. That contact was not returned by August when I contacted 4 additional people. At that time I was finally contacted back by Maria (she never told me her position but proceeded to call me periodically to check on the job and let me know she was going into a meeting where it was going to be discussed. She did not ever call back after any of those meetings to let me know why my job was still not being completed) who told me the install manager I had called in July no longer worked there but she would contact the new install manager to call me. After no contact, I had 2 failed attempts to reach Maria in September followed by eventually calling the main number where I was told a note was in the system yesterday telling the install manager to call me and that they had 48 hours to complete that. On 9/30/21 (almost one year from order date), I initiate another contact. Dan at the main number tried to call the install manager while I was on the phone with him but there was no answer. At that point he sent messages to the install manager and his 2 supervisors. At that point I believe I did receive a call or two, possible from Bill Shannon, district manager. On 10/28/21, installation of the last window was delayed due to weather but then completed on 11/16/21. At that point I was told they still did not have the missing and repair parts from the original install and that the "office" had lost it. The list made today would now be turned over to the service department. In January and March of 2022 is when Maria began her periodic calls mentioned above. On March 21, 2022 she had been told our job was to be completed on 3/18/22 yet I had not heard one word from Champion. Finally on 7/5/22, I get a call from Dwayne Britton, install manager, saying the installers had lost the list for a second time. So then I had to email him with the list of needed corrections. At some point in there I was told the installers were coming to make a list but they never showed up. On 9/26/22, I receive a call from Will Neibert who is the traveling install manager asking if he can come to make a list of missing parts. He assured me everything would be thoroughly cleaned and re-inspected prior to job completion. Well, it was obvious when the installers returned, they had no intention of doing that. They did not even use all of the parts that Will included on his list. In January 2023, (yes, over 2 years after the order was placed), Dwayne Britton called to say some of the parts were ready. Installers completed a few of the items on 1/18/23 and once again made a list of what was needed. At this point I fInd out that the glass that should have been ordered after Will Neibert's inspection in September has not been ordered but that they would "probably put a rush on it since the job had taken so long". The job was finally completed on 2/2/23 but without the thorough inspection I was promised multiple times so there still may be problems. I have not had the energy yet to do their job once again and complete the thorough cleaning myself to make sure there are no more issues. After dealing with this for over 2 years and doing the job Champion pays their employees to do for them, you would think they would want to make things right with a discount but their answer to that was a $100 gift card (on a project we paid over $44,000 for them to complete 2 years ago). While that is appreciated, that comes nowhere close to paying me for my time in all the calls I had to make, all the times I had to make myself available for yet another list to be made, etc. THEN after taking over 2 years to complete the project, I receive a phone contact in 5 days followed by a certified letter in 10 days from Veronica Mizelle asking that payment be made immediately. Definitely sorry to have committed over $40000 to a company with such a horrible business model.
The guys at the house were terrific. I had absolutely no problem with them.
Terrible.
Very disappointed sad thing is I got these windows when I was younger in our family home and I really like them
I accepted a contract with champion windows in Nov. of 2021. I was approved for a loan from Greensky. I was told to expect the windows and sliding door around six months. The windows were installed in April 2022. I didn't receive the door until Jan. 2023. This has caused many problems with the loan and for me.
The installers were very professional people, and they did an outstanding job.
They were wonderful and everyone was super nice and did a great job. The windows are beautiful.
I would not recommend Champion Windows. There was a lack of communication and organization.
They were excellent. The job was handled professionally and they had great clean up.
