Very nice high quality windows!
The salesman, Seth, told me I could get an aftermarket electronic lock from Locks & Pulls, other customers supposedly had, and they knew exactly what to order. He lied! The guy at Locks & Pulls told me they didn’t have anything that would work with Champion doors & didn’t know why they sent me to them. I spoke to Riley, the installation manager 2 weeks ago, promised he’d find out from the manufacturer, no response. If you want an electronic lock on your patio door, go to Anderson.
The crew sent out was only a half crew. The full crew didn’t show up till 4 pm and 6:30 pm on the two days. We have 4 children and it was absolute chaos. They did a good job but communication on the managements part was terrible.
Sales process was thorough and low pressure, all questions answered. Price is fair, and lower than competitors. Installation was on time, installers were respectful of the property and went above and beyond to repair structural rot issues. 18 month interest-free financing is excellent. And above all, the windows are incredibly well built and block all of the radiant heat from the west side of our home. Our AC is running less than half as much as last year. AND the warranty is transferrable when we sell our home in the future, which will most likely add value to the home. Champion is EXCELLENT across the board.
We were a repeat customer of champion but had windows installed in Feb and one started cracking from the inside corner. It still isn’t fixed. Had to call multiple times to get anyone to start a ticket and then waited over a week for someone to come out. They only took another picture and we still have to wait 4-8 more weeks for repair on a brand new window that was nearly $2000. Extremely disappointing for a company that sells their reputation as worth the extra cost. It was not in our case.
Very exacting on measuring and remeasuring, installers were great, very accommodating and knowledgeable. Explanation of windows and installation was excellent.
Caused some wall paint damage with the ladder.
Riley was fantastic in problem-solving and helping us oversee the project.
My first set of doors was defective and the installers damaged my new deck. The second set of doors was the wrong color completely and the third set had paint defects and scratches on the dark outside paint. Also, the installers did not carry the correct touch up paint.
The siding has changed the whole appearance of thehouse
I was told when I ordered the windows that they would qualify for a federal tax credit. When I contacted Champion later to get the details for filing for the credit that Champion windows did not qualify. I was clearly misled, whether intentionally or otherwise. Not a good look for Champion.
I regret my decision to engage Champion Windows & Doors for this project. The experience was characterized by repeated errors, excessive delays, and significant administrative shortcomings, resulting in considerable inconvenience and stress. I contracted Champion for the purchase and installation of seven windows and one exterior door, and the overall execution of this project fell well below reasonable professional standards.
At the time of purchase in October, I was advised that installation would be completed within six to eight weeks. However, I did not receive notification that the windows were ready until mid‑January.
After the installers removed my existing windows and began installation, it became apparent that the window sashes were incorrect and did not include the specified grid pattern. As a result, the sashes had to be reordered. During this visit, I requested an update regarding the door and was informed—only at that time—that the door had never been ordered, despite the fact that I had already been charged the full cost of the door, excluding installation.
It took an additional two months for the correct window sashes to arrive and be installed. The installation work itself was performed competently, and I have no complaints regarding the installers’ workmanship.
The door finally arrived in March; however, installation could not be completed because the door had been manufactured approximately 1.5 inches too tall and the door had to be returned to the manufacturer for adjustment. During this unsuccessful installation attempt, the existing trim was removed, the strike plates were taken out, and my screen door was removed and not initially returned, leaving me with a door that could not be locked. Champion returned the following day to install a temporary doorknob so that the door could be secured, and the screen door was also returned at that time. When I expressed concern and requested to cancel the door order due to this error and delay, I was informed that cancellation was not permitted.
As of April, I have been informed that the door cannot be adjusted and must be reordered entirely, further extending an already unreasonable timeline.
While I own an older home with additional windows that require replacement, I would not consider using Champion Windows & Doors again. Although the installers performed their duties adequately, the administrative, production, and project management failures were unacceptable. The company presents itself as a high‑quality, professional organization; however, my experience was entirely inconsistent with that representation.
The overall product, service, and customer experience did not justify the cost. I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend Champion Windows & Doors to others. Consumers who value reliability, accountability, and professional service would be well advised to seek alternatives.
Great team from initial consult through install.
Outdated sales tactics. Confirmed specific conditions that interior trim would be replaced then after contract was signed, and spoke to install manager he said it would not be. Spoke to rep for a little discount and was told no because the price was already discounted for windows. Only follow up was “will speak to sales and installation staff to make sure both are aligned”
The team we worked with was very professional and nice. They were quick! Once the materials arrived the room only took about 10 days to complete.
Quality of windows seems great!
h hi
The siding is too expensive and the window were not done properly. Damaged product was also applied to my home.
Shorten the timeframe between taking the order and installing the product. Also, phone calls about maintenance issues went unanswered for months.
Overall horrible experience. So many reason. No I would say don’t order windows through Champion Windows.
I'm glad to have it over.
I have 3 windows that do not seal properly and the frame on 1 window is not welded properly. The front door does not stay closed unless locked. The installation was months ago and I am still waiting on some resolution
All satisfactory
We are still having issues with getting this job complete. Need to pay attention to small details
The only thing was that I had to clear everything before install. I'm elderly and have a medical condition that limits my abilities.
The whole process was seamless and the installers were very nice and quick . I like all people, salesman, install supervisor and installers Thanks
