We are very happy with our CHAMPION SCREENED PORCH. THE MATERIAL AND INSTALATION IS OF HIGH QUALITY
First, communication is poor. When calling someone, they rarely answer their cell phones. so you need to leave a message. When they finally return the call, I was running errands and not home, missing the call. Thus prolonging the time to talk to someone.
Second, I became very leery about giving a company over $45,000.00 of my money and the only thing I saw was a piece of paper. I statrted to feeel as this was a scam.
Third, It took over two months to get the county permit. Which I was expecting. Why couldn't someone go down to Santa Cruise county and personally talk it out with someone to shorten the time.
Fourth, why did I find out two days before they finished that their was a 3 month back order on the rain gutters and might not receive them until March 2026?. Why weren't they ordered in August or September, so they would be here in enough time.
Fifth, Why were we not told that some of the glass windows needed to be custom made and will take up to two weeks before we get them installed. I now have four side windows missing and a 7 foot x 6 foot window missing. If it should rain and be a downpour, this room is going to flood because there is nothing on the open windows to keep the rain from coming into the sunroom.
Sixth, when given the estimate, I had a couple of items that need to be looked into. One, I didn't know how the roof was done. I thought it would be either a metal roof or asphalt roof. Patrick wrote on the estimate and figured in a rolled roof. When they finnished, they did not install a rolled roof, but I was charged for one.
Second, the cost for the electric installment was figured in high. Patrick looked at our electric box and noticed all the breakers were used up. He figured in the cost to install another fuse box and running conduit line over 120 feet to the sunroom to connect the electric. When it was installed, Raul connected the electric to an existing out let, just using about 3 feet of conduit.
I have tried twice now to get Patrick to call me back, but all I get is his voice mail and I leave a message waiting for his call back.
The windows were in Phoenix but took a couple of weeks to get them installed in Tucson, AZ.
I believe the process took way too long to complete. I should not have to call to get updates, they should keep me informed along the way.
All these pieces installed have issues. But waiting for solution. Customer service are very receptive and trying to help.
Great windows.
