Don't bait and switch

The install crew was absolutely fantastic and they did a great job installing our windows and sliding doors. Tony answered all my questions and took the time to explain everything.

The crew came earlier than was expected, which caught us a little off guard. As a result, there was a delay in my being able to open the gate. One of them was a smoker and commented that I arrived just as he was lighting up, and how that always seemed to be the case, as if it were inconvenient for him or that he lost out on a cigarette. He often smelled of smoke throughout the morning, as if he couldn't go back to the truck without taking a drag.

He also pointed out that we were still not ready for them, even given the delay. (I did not have the physical strength or the correct tool to remove two of the brackets for the shades.)

After everything was installed, one of the windows wouldn't open. The response was that it wasn't their problem, though it seemed an issue that would have easily been fixed with a file. They seemed to want to get out as quickly as they could. The smoker said he was, in essence, trying to hide from his boss, who had something else for him to do. They left behind an empty aerosol can on the dresser.

Shortly after they left, we were notified that the last payment was automatically withdrawn from our account. It would have been nice if we had been allowed to offer this feedback and to have the window fixed before the money was taken.

It was nice that Champion was able to fit us into their schedule sooner than initially thought. Regarding their being early, it was better than being late.

The installers were very professional and had job done same day!

I purchased a 3 season room. The installers, Dino and Victoria were great. Stefan Ford did an excellent job with the concrete. He even demo’d part of the step which allowed more room. ( Subsequently hired him to build my new fence which is also excellent.)
The only complaints were the lack of check in/follow up from the project manager and the workmanship of the windows.

Still waiting for leftovers to be picked up from 2 weeks ago. It's killing my lawn

Installation was flawless! Installers did a fantastic job! Amazed how careful they were, particularly around surrounding plants, clean-up, and replacement of the frame is better than had been. Only drawback was miscommunication between Champion personnel regarding measurements and scheduling the installation. It is very difficult to find a phone number for the New Berlin shop when in need to reach out. If it weren't for this two week issue, I would have given a 10.

5 out of my 6 windows are loose on the corners and feel like they will fall in. The 1 window that is not like that is very hard to open

Your worker cut my power line to the septic tank and did not tell anyone, which caused me to pay $150 to have it examined. The building manager Rick told me the wrong final total and later came asking for more money. The windows were not sealed before "completion" causing water damage. The roof leaked into my home while construction took place. I had no warning of when the electric would be put in, they just showed up and said give us access and the fan to install. I have alerted customer service and have yet to get a reply.

From start to finish, the project went seamlessly. I had the most wonderful man sell me the windows and then them even most wonderful man install them. It got rid of the bugs getting into my house. Felt good to get rid of those old wooden windows. Highly recommend.

Quality of the product, and the installer where very professional. It would be comforting to let the home owner that the people are sub contractors not champion employees.

Not a fan of all the emails and marketing/sales stuff. Makes you look less legitimate and kind of desperate

Constant changes to paperwork, and annoyed about door installation left exposed wood that I need to take care of that I wasn’t aware of during purchase. But pricing was good.

In 2006 we had two Champion doors installed, and we've never had an issue with them. When we decided to replace two different doors, the first manufacturer we thought of was Champion.

Poor communication, unprofessional install team and office; everyone works in a silo and tells me my questions can only be answered by another team member and my problems are not their responsibility. The windows

I have a complaint filed with green sky financial.
Never signed completion job certificate for front door.
Cause storm screen door not installed.
Someone lifted signature or had someone at bar sign name.
Sent green sky proof we did not sign in Tex communication to salesman and installer agreed we should not sign .
And we did not sign job is not done… champion got paid when job is not done.. something fishy is going on..

At this point, I will not recommend Champion to anyone. There have been many disappointing aspects to the experience we've had, although, the project is not yet complete. I would, however, recommend the carpenter and electricians that were sub-contracted.

Nothing has ever happened in a timely manner and all aspects have been extremely late. Communication is severely lacking.

Two very efficient men worked quickly.

The only issue I have is with the salesman, he's a liar!

If you're looking for the cheaper option, Champion is the best option.

It has been 7 months installed and still not completed. No excuse for this.

Your product appears to be very well made, but your sales tactics are terrible!

I feel that l paid WAY too much for what l got!

Our decision to go with Champion Windows was made without any 'comparison shopping'. But that decision has proven to be a sound one, after the company's products and policies were presented and explained to us. I am confident that we have made a good purchase and that these windows will last well beyond our own residency in this house.

Customer service is a disaster. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Long wait times for products. Installation is average.

Overall, a good company worth looking into and comparing to other window vendor products.

Nails not the same color of metal installed. Inside trim cheap peeled away or just fell off. Installation crew had to redo some trim twice and a day later still peeled away. Some of the concrete layer around windows cracked away. I have pictures. Windows themselves look of good quality.

While it took three tries to get a valid signed contract, the first set of windows came in incorrectly. However, knowing this, they were installed anyway, and a new set were ordered. The first set took a month to receive, the second set took three additional months. The new panes have been installed, but two of the new glass panes were installed backwards, and the third was installed upside down. This has not been a pleasant experience.

Our experience was a nightmare! Only had 3 windows replaced and each window had issues. Installers had to be corrected for each. First window was not put in level and very noticeable from the inside, had to make installer look at it from the inside to show him or it would not have been corrected. Bay window was not put in correctly as there was a half inch gap on the inside between the wall and the inside trim wood. We had to have installer come back inside and show him so he could correct that issue. The installers didn't know how to fix the gap in the stone underneath the bay window and had to call the supervisor for an answer. The bay window was also supposed to have a new awning overhang with a metal roof which did not happen. Also the outside trim on those two windows had to be corrected. The third window was an awning bedroom window and the installers caulked it shut from the outside so it would not open. On top of all of this, the screens for the bay window and the awning window had to be remade three times as they did not fit properly. We still are not totally thrilled with the fit and they are very flimsy. All in all, these windows were a big disappointment as the quality sucks. Are old windows were a much better quality. We were disappointed with the way the company handled the end cost. We were reimbursed for the bay awning, but nothing else as we requested or they would not honor the warranty. All in all, poor customer service, poor quality, and poor installation.

The sunroof was completed a week ago and we are using it every day. Things went as smoothly as I could have hoped.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the room, the work done, and how efficiently it was done. Finished room looks amazing.

Highly recommend Champion for their expertise and customer service. I am very happy with our 4 season sunroom.

Windows are beautiful compared to what I had originally. Quality is excellent and their installers were great and very careful.

I purchased four windows, and they are all damaged, scuffed, or the wrong kind of glass. With respect to the installation of the windows, there were stains on the vinyl. I ordered white vinyl and they are a black stain. I don't know if it was a transport issue from my installer, but they are all dinged and scuffed. They said it was not that bad, but I paid $2,000. They said to try some bleach water.

Zack and Leo were very respectful of our home.

Overall Just not what I expected

Everything has been fat and professional. There is a small chip in one of the inside frames and they practically insisted on replacing it, they certainly stand by thier warranty where some companies look for any excuse to deny a claim.

They are Very Friendly, Helpful and professional!! And Do wonderful installations!

It was a very good experience, especially since at installation the crew ran into some issues so to the age of the windows. The team did a great job of thinking on their feet and outside the box.
