The overall result was very good however I was a bit dissatisfied with the daily cleanliness and organization of the jobsite. Materials, equipment, and waste were scattered throughout, even on properties of our neighbors. As of this writing there are still materials that have to be picked up and there is still debris (nails, screws, and vinyl trim pieces) scattered in the back parking area and along the sides of the house. I expected there to be some of this but thought things to be a bit more organized.

The communication throughout the project has been... well, sub-par would be fair except par is so low in this business that it feels disappointingly typical. The only reason the project happened at all was a last-minute phone call by my wife that made its way to the company president after I had called, emailed, and texted repeatedly and gotten no response. Then during the project there were long periods of eerie silence that were only relieved by us asking what was going on. Even now that the project is 99% done we're having the same problem. We're told that a crew will show up "Tuesday or Wednesday" and only after two texts from me (after the indicated days have gone by) do I get told that the goal is now Tuesday of next week. Look, I get it - life is unpredictable. Projects get delayed, weather happens, people get sick, etc. But none of that should prevent a simple text or phone call to keep us up to date.

They were very professional and they did the job in a timely manner.

Work crew not attentive enough to details. Butt joints not tight on trim. Siding not completely level( did not use level line on installation).

Punch work at end of the job i.e. reattaching items that were removed still has not been completed. Porta Potty and material is still in the driveway. Several nails were picked up from driveway

On time, on budget, impressively skilled (even the inspector was impressed!), and respectful, communicative, and cheerful in all discussions about the project. We will definitely use Capital Construction again.

The crew was on time every day, they cleaned up after themselves, and did quality work.

From start to finish the experience was amazing great service along with a great product. This is a major investment to our home equity and we could not be more pleased with the outcome.

I found my experience very frustrating. In many cases promises made were not fulfilled. There were days when I expected installers to be on site, but they didn't come. The siders covered over the connections to my doorbells. When I mentioned it to the project manager, the installers pulled them through the bend in the siding instead of the middle of it so the electrician had to install them in an odd angle. There was a general lack of attention to detail. The soffit installation on the south peak of the roofline does not meet cleanly. On the south east cirner of the soffit installation there is a bit of metal poking out that is obviously incomplete. I am still picking up stray nails from my lawn. No one checked to ensure that the correct shutters were delivered, causing a lengthy delay in their installation. There were many items discussed with the project manager that the installers did not complete unless I repeatedly complained. A few of my wife's flower beds were unnecessarily trampled. For the price I paid, I expected much better. On the bright side, I am very happy with the quality of the materials used.

Not throw away expensive equipment from the sides of the house when doing the work

I talked to three contractors and Capital Construction was right in the middle. I had an amount I was looking to spend they were slightly over but I really liked there presentaion and I felt the quality of materials was good. When Chase, the first saleman gave his pitch he was great but I decided to wait for the other two contractors pitch. After talking with them I had more question and reached out to Capital. They sent out Larry, I thought it would be a high pressure sales guy but he wasn't. I asked my questions and voiced my conserns. He answered honestly and we talked about how we could meet on a price. This man was great, we ended up at a price good for him and good for me. If you are considering residing your house give Capital a call and hear them out. Then keep talking and see if you and Capital can meet on a price you both can live with. By the way, my house look really great.

While everyone I spoke with was very helpful there was always a disconnect and issues with communication between when I spoke with a rep from the company and the crew that was working on my house. They did not speak any English and unfortunately my Spanish is very poor so I needed to speak with my rep who then would contact there manager who would then tell them what I wanted done. This happened from the start of the project with the delivery of material and dumpster not being placed where I requested to when the old siding was removed I was assured that the the wood frame would not be left exposed and would be covered with the weatherproof materieal. This did not happen and the entire house was left with all siding removed for nearly a week while we had significant rain storms roll through and no work was done.
Also after spending nearly $70,000 dollars on new siding for my house 3 of the screens on my windows no longer fit the frames and instead of them fixing they asked me to have a screen company come out and to have new custom screens made and then submit the receipt for reimbursement. I have yet to find a company that will come to my house to take measurements for only 3 screens. So after all the money I spent now I need to spend my time trying to fix this.

The quality and timliness of the installation was impressive.

So far the entire crew has been attentive and informative throughout the process. We are only one-third of the way done.

The entire process was seamless. Everyone I spoke with—from the sales team to the project manager to the crew that worked here—was professional, helpful, and transparent. It was an extremely easy process for me. I simply engaged them to help, and they did the rest. Everything was perfect.

My sister is in construction and said they did a phenomenal job. I'm giving them a 4 because I've had to call several times to have them clean up, finish up, or fix something.

My screen door for my slider doesn’t lock very well and also they were some screens at the bottom of my windows that don’t close tight on both ends and I’m pretty sure bug since mosquitoes can get through those corners also one window came in the wrong size so I still need to wait for my whole job to be finished

I hired Capital Construction to do full vinyl siding replacement, taking my current siding back to the plywood, they did a great job residing , replacing any plywood that needed to be repaired. Put a foam insulation on top of the paper they put on top of the plywood. The crew they sent was very efficient competent professional. The work was done quickly, and in addition to the siding, I had a full trek deck put onto the house, once the old deck was torn down. they covered all of the required permits for the entire job. The job couldn’t have gotten any better.

Capital Construction did a reasonably good job of doing what they said they would do within a reasonable time frame of when they committed to getting the work done (which in my experience is highly unusual for most contractors today). The final siding and associated trim work looks really nice and is a huge improvement to my home. The cost was high, but my satisfaction is also high.
