Menolds (now BluSky) have been exceptional to our needs over the years with professional employees who are well qualified and most interested in meeting our needs.
This company sucks. I would give them no stars but that was not an option. This company (Blue Sky) did not do the work but they are now the company that is responsible for the former company's work. They either merged or was bought out by Blue Sky. The same people that worked for J.C Restoration is working for Blue Sky, and I am told that they could not do anything about the work because it was out of warranty. From day one I had been getting the run around from J.C. From the "manager of the project being changed, to putting off the work that needed to be done. I talked to at least 5 different people/managers and had to give the same story of how my roof was damaged to each person. The old manager did not forward or did not take notes of what needed to be done. I have been having problems with my roof since it was done in 2017. Shingles have been falling off since. They are uneven and looks like they just patched it up. The straight lines that is suppose to be, it looks like they put a wedge in between two rows. I complained about the waviness of the roof right after completion and was told that "the tar on the shingles needed to be heated up for them to settle". I found out later that this waviness is actually nails that was not sunk in or were bent while being driven in. There are holes/gaps in the sheet metal around the chimney. Many of the nails are sticking out and has been covered with sometype of tar. This roof was originally a total tear off job that J.C did . I have pictures of the poor and shoddy workmanship job that was done. If you want to replace your roof every 7 years use this company. I have called this company and was told to "file another claim with my insurance company. Again DO NOT USE THEM!!! They may not be J.C but the same people work for Blue Sky. I have filed claims with the Better Business and have written reviews on Yelp and Google. If you had work done by J.C contact another roofer and have it inspected and contact a lawyer.
