Too many times with home projects, you end up with the burden of acting as the general contractor / project manager yourself. This is not the case with BluSky - they say what they are going to do and do what they say. I was never more than a text away from getting answers to questions and appreciate the frequency and consistency of their communication. Special thanks to our project manager, Terry, for treating us like his only customer and always taking steps to make sure the job was done right!
Areas Of Satisfaction - Really appreciate the consistent updates and responsiveness of my project manager, Terry.
Took way too long to complete our job. We did pay our insurance deductible of $500.00 to Blue Sky. After waiting two mos. to come back and complete the job, we decided to just pay out-of-pocket and hired another company that was prompt and they came out and had the job done completed within a week. We are so glad to get our sub-floors and the entire house top flooring replaced by some really profession guys that don’t mind getting the job done. We still are waiting for our $500.00 deductible to be deposited into our acct. It’s been weeks, and still no check. Our insurance company already paid Blue Sky over $8k to just run fans and dehumidifiers in our home for one week. Now Blue Sky wants us to endorse that check. Even though I think that’s a heck of a price for that little bit of work, I will gladly endorse that check once my $500.00 deductible is in my bank. I would never recommend them to anyone.
I was so impressed with Ashley Elks that I told my property manager to use her as my primary contractor.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Kitchen was well done
It was fast in getting an estimate for the repairs but then, snails move faster. The estimate was done in November 2022. My insurance company paid the estimate in full even before the work had started. It took until February to finish. twice as long as it should have, and I received two emails telling me that I needed to pay a deposit before work could be started.
I do not recommend them because they took too long to get the work done, were not good at following through and doing what they said they would do, often did not show up when promised, and made errors on the scope of work after I repeatedly asked for clarification in writing, which resulted in me having to do some of the work myself. Also, their terminology and process was very confusing between project managers, project estimator, contractors, and subcontractors. Not customer-friendly at all.
Blue Sky was the worst contractor I have ever used. They started the project in April (2022) and its 1/24/23 and they have not finished yet. The job was to replace a shower pan and retile the shower. They won't return my calls and they wont return the calls to USAA. They over charged and said they did work that was never done. The work that they did do was terrible.
I would not recommend BluSky. Changes to the project were made with the assumption that it would save money by not purchasing new cabinets/tub/etc. In the end, they gave extra fees and charged well over the original estimate even with 'saving' to clean instead of replace. Their painter painted over all our sprinkler heads so we had to get those replaced. It took months to go back and forth on the final amount. It's just wild to me how they've conducted business.
they went above and beyond! they did work on a rental property i own and the renters were so pleased w the workers they wanted to spot bonus them!
I wish I could say yes, but sadly I cannot recommend BluSky for the reasons listed below.
Employees were very nice and cleaned up well.
The technicians were very professional and made us feel confident that they would take care of us. I would totally recommend them. Mr. Ricky Brown and his team member did an amazing job.
Services were performed in a professional and timely manner.
They are the BEST!!!!!
Absolutely! Great response time and great communication
Although this past year presented unforeseen challenges because of COVID, the working relationship between contractors and customer was professional, courteous, very accommodating, and renovations were completed in a timely fashion when materials were available for delivery.
They were inexperienced, did not communicate. Had to continuously called to find out when they would be able to do the work. They damaged about 11000.00 $ worth of my property.
Very professional company and easy to work with. Everyone was knowledgeable in their field. Would strongly recommend BluSky Restoration.
Fast, professional response. Excellent job and continuous communication throughout the process.
Very professional and easy to work with. Very happy with all work completed.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the opportunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of BluSky Restoration Contractors of Charlotte as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
