Well, this survey has been sent 4x to me now, so I’ll go ahead and answer. Although the job has completed within the timeframe we were told, it wasn’t without issues we enduredhe lack of communication and days without any work being done was frustrating. Charging us for things that we had discussed “Owners” were going to be responsible, reminding us what a deal we were getting, apparently our original PM was let go and we weren’t communicated for over a week when we were reaching out with questions. And we’re wondering what’s going on. Being charged for 20% tile overage and not being communicated this is the industry standard until after the fact. This was a charge after we had enough tile. Trade workers who aren’t being communicated about certain tasks and leaving at noon with no other jobs to go too, then coming back the next day to complete something they could’ve done the day prior when they had the time and we’re on site eg; 3rd drawer tray.
Excellent install!
With the exception of delivery issues, and forgotten cabinet orders which should have been caught upon delivery, we are satisfied with the outcome.
If management would have supplied a list of costs so we could make informed decisions, if Karey, in accounting, had not alarmed me with her rude, threatening behavior, if the project had been finished timely, I would have felt differently. The end of this project gave me a very negative feeling about Artistic Kitchen and Bath.I give highest marks for Precision Countertops. They were professional, informative and timely.
Excellent service!
We were very satisfied with the overall process of our kitchen remodel. We found the staff to be easy to work with, skilled and professional.
The technicians at Artistic are just great! They treat you as friends , more than just clients
We had our cabinets installed by Artistic Kitchen & Bath and could not have been happier. The installer was fantastic—professional, friendly, and budget conscious. Our contact with the office was also great. They answered all of our questions and were helpful in decision making. We would definitely recommend them.
AKB has been professional and competent in all areas dealing with my new kitchen. They have responded quickly to any and all questions I had and expertly handled all areas of remodel.
You may use any of my comments above. All work was done in a professional and friendly manner. All persons with whom I had to interact (installers, etc) and/or communicate by email or phone have been very helpful and ensured that my projects were completed to my satisfaction.
I highly recommend Artistic, I would use them again. The workmanship and attention to detail is excellent.
It took way longer than anticipated. We hired out the kitchen to make our lives easier. In the end all of the bumps along the road made it more stressful than helpful to hire. We picked out our kitchen in November and it was finally completed in August. This pushed back our move in date. When a built in was done incorrectly the workers were upset they had to redo it. "Seriously it took us all day to install that the first time!" All of the measurements for the built in were off. I'm not sure what they were going off of because the plans in the paperwork for the built in measurements were correct. Crew put together the cabinets and didn't say anything about broken, wrong colored, or warped doors. If they would have said something they could have sped up the time it took to get replacements. Wrong floor was delivered and was luckily detected by my husband the night before they were going to install it. The wrong stove top size was made in the plans when we had talked and emailed about the exact model and size of the cook top. This ended up with us having to make the cabinets wider than we would have liked or asymmetrical cabinets. The wrong size cabinet was ordered multiple times, again delaying work. Many spots in the kitchen have to be repainted due to cabinets scraping paint off of walls. I understand one or two bumps along the way. This all seemed excessive and most of it could have been prevented. We were not given updates on when people were going to be working on our house. It was always a guessing game on what days they would come over. Sometimes weeks between work and we heard nothing.
Janis Nelle, the sales representative, did not write down what we had requested and ordered the wrong products. She provided inaccurate timeframes = start to finish would be 4-6 weeks. Had I used them for the countertops that I found were 60% cheaper going elsewhere, it would have been 3 months. Their accounting department charged us way earlier than what they indicated in writing. I paid $11K+ for pressed board cabinets that were "custom" and 4 floating shelves. The holes for my drawer and cabinet pulls were drilled incorrectly and did not line up even though the pulls were ON SITE. SHOP AROUND and ask for a cost breakdown BEFORE the job starts. I would not use them again nor recommend them.
They did a great job starting with the design and on through the installation. All the workers were very professional and also left the job site clean at the end of each day. Much appreciated. Todd was especially great at resolving a few wrinkles and moving us forward to being ecstatic with the final kitchen project. We would highly recommend AKB to anyone and in fact have to some of our friends already.
Artistic Kitchen and Bath exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We believe our kitchen could easily win a prize in any architectural publication.
Love Artistic Kitchen and the kitchen installed for me. I’d recommend them to anyone with good taste, attention to detail and moderate budget.
Best case scenario we could have had. No remodeling job goes perfectly, but snags were relatively minor and quickly resolved.
Working with Kristen H. was the best part. She communicated and did her best to fulfill every request we had. I would Recommend working with Kristen on any home project.
