We’ve had a wonderful experience working with Arnett Construction. Their communication has been clear and concise, and they consistently set reasonable expectations. The crew works hard—putting in long hours—and they are incredibly kind and respectful.
The management team meets with us regularly to provide updates and share what to expect in the coming weeks. They also offer valuable guidance and cost-effective recommendations throughout the process.
Having heard many negative stories about working with contractors, we’re especially grateful that our own experience has been overwhelmingly positive.
It's early in this process however so far we would say that the team we have coming on the regular is smart, pleasant and offer up solutions and possibilities that have aided us along the way. Hoping for an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and satisfaction in the near months to come.
The Arnett team I worked with was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and had a strong attention to detail. They made suggestions for scope changes along the way that majorly improved how our project turned out.
Quality and experience are what we are paying for. We think a lot of companies can say that they will build your house, but where you see the experience is for all of the things that we as home owners don't know, and for all of the areas that were unforeseen to us. We wanted a forever home, not a home for just the next 5 years, which is why the quality workmanship is so important.
Travis is an amazing builder, but more than that, he is a great human being. Even though he has a lot going on, he makes everyone feel like they are a priority because they are.
Overall the quality of construction from Arnett has been very good. However the focus on running the project to a budget and timeline has been lacking. I don’t necessarily think the project is dramatically off track but there is a significant unwillingness to commit to targets around cost or timing. The answer is always ‘it depends’ or ‘we will get back to you’. The Arnett team needs to understand that their customers have busy lives and need to line up funding for large custom homes so leaving these questions open ended is frustrating and takes away from the overall customer experience.
