My wife and I were very pleased with ARAC. Jeff Coon represented them well in every respect. We asked for other bids but they were'n't as responsive as Jeff who saw to every detail including helping to move flower pots and deck furniture.
I am satisfied with the quality of the products on my roof. I understand that they probably have many different roofing crews, so if someone got a different crew then us, they may have had a different experience. I didn't appreciate the fact that I was cleaning up my own yard for the amount of money they were getting paid to do our roof. For the most part, the management of the company was good and made it right. I just don't know that I would want a friend to go through what I did. We had neighbors complain about the yard and the crew. The crew placed stuff in my neighbors flower bed. My husband and I had to make it right for our neighbors and clean up our yard. The crew left personal belongings. You could see where they ate because they left so much trash and clothing where they sat. That was one of the things is we were promised in the beginning and that part wasn't how we were told. When I pushed back with the project manager on things, she told me that just is how it in with roofing crews. When the project managers boss got involved he took care of the roofing issues we had. He was great. We are pleased with our roof.
I am very pleased with the job that they did.
I am very happy with the results of the roof.
We loved working with Rich! He took care of us from start to finish. He even handled calling our insurance for us.
They were good.
The service and quality was delivered as promised. I would highly recommend them.
Our job was completed quickly and properly. We had a great experience with ARAC: Roof It Forward.
ARAC's installation crew knocked off a downspout that emptied from the second story onto the roof of my garage. They left the downspout lying on the ground in the pile of removed old shingles and other trash. I personally retrieved it. It took 5 or more phone calls over a period of weeks to get a worker out to repair the downspout. The worker did not have the equipment to re-attach the downspout to the brick sidewall of my house.. So he took a short cut: He nailed the foot of the downspout onto the garage roof! He nailed through the new shingles. When he came down the ladder I protested that he had just nailed through mu new roof. He said he didn't have the tools or fasteners for re-attaching to the brick sidewall. When I insisted that was not satisfactory, he intimidated me (I am 75 years old and was recovering from abdominal surgery. He got right in my face and told me to put down the cell phone when I tried to call ARAC to complain. I was so afraid for my personal safety that I retreated into the house--and he got in his truck and floorboarded the engine and roared off.My salesman had disappeared/didn't return calls. I reached a manager of ARAC after a dozen calls attempted. He sent out a professional gutter and downspout company (not ARAC) a few weeks after the roof had been installed and the pros re-attached the downspout to the brick in about 10 minutes after they arrived. Plus, the pros sealed the hole in the shingles and deck created by the ARAC worker who nailed the foot of the downspout into my garage roof. I spent at least 5 hours over a period of two weeks before getting the ARAC exec to send out a professional crew to re-attach the downspout to the brick sidewall of my house.
Brandon responded quickly to emails and texts. Work was done in one day. They use the same software as the insurance company, so there were no discrepancies or surprises with the cost. All promises kept. Great company.
I would highly recommend ARAC: Roof It Forward and Owens Corning products without hesitation.
On my statement of work, it did say to put the materials on the left-hand side of my driveway. There were so many that when the guy came, they put them on the right. I'm happy I was home to catch them. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied.
Yes, I'll tell them about our experience and they can make their own decision. As you know, these crews speak mostly Spanish and it's what they have to work with. They did good work. The crew leader for the the latino work group was very good. He knew his job. I checked his work in the attic and he did a very good job. I liked working with the project manager. He knew the business.
