We called for an estimate on a Friday @ 1:30pm, Nathan called us back and was here @ 3:30!!! Grabbed his ladder, got on the roof, went in the house to assess interior issues and we got the ball rolling!!!

Contact person (Ben) was amazing. And work was done quickly and thoroughly. My roof took 1.5 days to complete, including new decking. My neighbor's roof was started on a Wednesday and took 10 days (including a three day, somewhat daily weekend.)

Having a new roof installed on your home is a big undertaking; it's major construction, fairly expensive, and if not done right it can lead to substantial damage and loss. We knew it was time to re-roof our Moscow home, so we decided to interview a number of companies serving the Palouse. I'm very glad we did as we discovered two things; there are a number of very good and trustworthy roofing contractors in our area, and there just might be some to avoid at all costs.

We 'interviewed' Apex because they have done several roofs in our neighborhood. In fact, they did the neighbors across the street and came to our door when they were done. Not to sell us a roof, but to tell us to call them if we found any debris in our yard; they'd gladly and quickly come out to clean it up. That's outstanding customer service, and I wasn't even a customer yet. Pete Barner was the Apex Project manager who came out to do an inspection and give us an estimate. I found him to be knowledgeable, courteous, polite, and trustworthy. He gave me an honest assessment that included his opinion that with some minor maintenance my roof would likely last another 2-3 years. No high pressure 'the sky is falling! You need a roof today!' like some other homeowners have experienced with roofers. When it came time to decide, and Apex was our choice, Pete met with us and walked us through colors, styles, warranties, etc. He's not a salesman. He's a competent Project Manager with knowledge of his industry and the materials. His approach allowed us to trust him and to trust Apex to give us the best possible service and product. And Apex was able to start the project sooner than some other contractors.

We have a pretty big roof, and the project was done in a day; well 2 days if you count the day the materials were delivered and loaded on the roof. Having your roof replaced is messy. There is no way to get your old asphalt shingles off without making mess. The Apex crew made a MESS! But they cleaned as they went along using a magnet and a blower to collect nails and garbage. And they cleaned up when they were done. I mean they cleaned up.....everything. It's been almost a week and I still haven't found any stray debris they missed. I like that. The crew was efficient, courteous and conscientious, and the finished product looks amazing. Especially the little things like adding W metal to all of my valleys. This provides a very clean look and will help me fight ice dams. If you are going to invest some serious money in your roof, and you want to be treated respectfully (during the inspection and estimate, when scheduling, during install, and the finished product/clean-up afterward) consider Apex. I'm very happy we chose them
