Poor communication Unanswered texts
I had 2 concerns after the job was completed I never met the project manager did speak to him by phone regarding my concerns. I sent him the requested photos that was over a week ago and I have not heard back from him.
I also requested several times for an itemized invoice of my very expensive job. My salesman was unable to
produce the invoice after several
empty promises to produce an invoice. I finally had a conversation with a manager who explained why Alure does not share invoices Still a complicated reason for me to completely understand Alure’s reasoning. Because of my experiences I will not recommend Alure to family or friends. The group who completed my project were the best part of my experience with Alure. They were hardworking professional neat and completed my job in one day.

Not recommending to anyone.

I would 100% recommend Alure to family and friends. The process from start to finish was such a great experience. Remodeling can be nerve wracking but I can honestly say this went so smoothly.

I had my 1970’s style walled bathtub/shower removed and a step in shower installed in one day. A slight issue occurred with the drain and was handled with skill by the well experienced staff on sight.
Quality workmanship was performed by the Alure crew. Prep was done prior to start. Stairs, the walkway and all exposed ares were protected. At completion everything was vacuumed and cleaned.
I have been using for a week and totally satisfied.

They were disorganized.

They are very, very easy to work with. They were very prompt, and they stuck to everything they said they were going to do. The timeline of how long it's going to take, and the cleanliness, is excellent.

They were a great team. I never saw a group of people work together so efficiently. They all knew what they had to do. I think they went above and beyond my expectations.

Alure explained the job upfront and future appointments before starting the job. The bathroom was completed earlier than expected and clean up was performed every night . The bathroom was a complete renovation and came out beautiful.

i had a bad experience throughout the whole process..........John my original salesman although he was very personable he was quite inexperienced....he said he measured the job on our first meeting then when the job was suppose to be done called me to remeasure ?????then when the job was suppose to start got a call that the pllumber quit....that held things up quite a bit.....in fact 2 plumbers quit.....then the job that was according to all your advertising was suppose to take 1 day (tub to shower conversion) well the first day they gutted the bathroom and left when i asked if they were coming back they said the CIty of WHite Plains inspector has to look at the job first and left me with a gutted bathroom ....we had below freezing weather during that time since i was down to concrete block...even with the door closed I could not get my apartment warm......so the next day I took it upon myself to call the City of White Plains plumber and begged him to come ASAP........I am an 80 year old woman with STAGE 4 BREAST CANCER and i was nervous about showring with climbing over a bath tub...well the plumber was very cooperative and the men were able to complete the job in 2 days.....then they forgot to put in the niche had to wait 2 days for that to be installed...then the first time I used the shower the shower head came out very slowly with hardly any power when i questioned that I was told that was what i signed up for UNBELIEVABLE.....i got a Mickey Mouse shower head for $17,000.00 ...so i had to call in a plumber to put in a REAL shower head...AT MY EXPENSE.........also had to get a painter here to finish the ceiling that they never completed............the whole thing was A NIGHTMARE...

They did a great job; it was just a lot of money.

In the beginning, working with them was a bit tough, but they did the job wonderfully.

I like it. Alure did a good job. They completed the job on time. The cleanup was good.

There was good communication, and it was all done in the time frame they said it would be.

Very satisfied with the product and the installation.. everything was done beautifully and timely and finished that you didn’t k ow you had anyone in your home at all.

Very happy with the work performed and done in my home. Excellent no complaints if I wasn’t here in this house in my home when these gentlemen came to my home to do the work, I would not believe who’s telling me. The story that I just told you they are fantastic. I would recommend your company Highly bringing all that attention to the two gentlemen and the lady that started this whole project for me yes yes yes yes I will recommend you.

There was damage to the outside wall of my bathroom. There were nail holes and the sheet rock is crimped, and they were not there prior to the installation of the bathroom.

We had a new shower installed and were very pleased with professionalism, workmanship, and quality we received as the end result.

I used Alure on a previous remodel and that experience was superior to this experience.

The timelines initially promised were never going to work. It was impossible according to the project managers once the project was booked. It went from 3 months to almost a year to be finished.

I’m a first time homebuyer and went with Alure thinking that they had the experience to deliver what they said they would. I paid a premium for a home renovation company but it was not worth it. Their management of the project and communication with me was not adequate. I had to ask for updates, rather than them telling me what was going on.

I would not recommend them. Get quotes from several places. Don’t believe Alure’s timelines and ask a lot of questions or put in clauses into the contract to make sure they follow through on their promises.

They were very good. They went above and beyond. Anything I asked, they did.
