We met with Advanced Renovations in June to schedule the construction of an outdoor living area. We were originally scheduled to start construction in July. The permit was issued in September. The project was completed early March with punch out list still not complete. This was not a major renovation. We do like the final project and the people were nice to deal with, but they are not efficient with the use of the crews. This project should have been completed in less than 3 months. It took over 6. We had mishaps of the new ceiling falling down at Christmas. Excess water pouring in on our screened in porch when guest were scheduled to arrive. The new flooring having to be replaced due to no protection placed over it during the construction phase. We also were sent rendering of the project, however, that was not what we ended up with. The rendering was a vision, so be careful. I placed calls and sent emails with my concerns and quickly had responses, either in person or by phone. They spent some of their holiday right here with us trying to make the situations right. Like I said, nice people to work with. I feel like they have taken on too many projects at one time and are spread too thin. A full crew would come in the morning and then 3 would leave, going to another project, leaving one person here to work on our project. Bring a full crew here and leave them. They could have finished this project in half the time reducing their cost tremendously as well as keeping the customer happy, if they just would have let them stay all day and knock it out. I would not recommend them due to the time that my house was kept in disarray. I told them I felt like I was a hostage in my own home. I realize construction is never fun but you know that going into it, so when it goes on for months and months after the scheduled completion date, it becomes very frustrating and unfortunately, that is the lasting memory.

Advanced Renovations were easy to work with. They were extremely professional and responded to all inquires in a timely manner. All contractors were professional and courteous and always left the site clean in the evenings. They showed up when they were suppose to and communicated well with me throughout my kitchen renovation. I would high recommend them.

My project was comprehensive including plumbing, electrical, drywall, cabinetry, carpets, hardwoods, tilework, paint/stain, millwork, AC, and insulation. Advanced Renovations brought a top notch team into my home - from the general contractor to all the subs, I felt comfortable with the people and was beyond impressed with the work. I would highly recommend Advanced Renovations for any job.

Professional & Organized - This is the biggest thing I looked for in hiring them. At the beginning of the project I received clear estimates with well defined scope of services, a design booklet that articulated our joint vision for the project, and everything that I personally would never have known how to do from permits to inspection schedules. They landed a general contractor, Steve, who worked to an organized schedule which they clearly communicated and updated as needed. He worked with me real time to accomplish what I wanted in the design (which was rather unique) while putting organized options on the table that helped me shape my thinking.

Schedule - While we had extensions to the timeline, they were to accommodate my additions or typical things that just happen as a course of a project like this. Each extension was clearly communicated with the reason and adjusted timeline.

Budget - I had a pretty open budget on this project. That said, with each decision I made, Advanced Renovations was clear on the cost and timeline.
