The shingle and eavestrough installment was done professionally. The weather slowed things down somewhat and what usually takes about 2 days morphed into a week. Impossible to inspect the roof which was under snow when completed, but so far the satisfaction level is high. This is the third time ( well first Clark roofing in 1967 then A. Clark twice more) that this company worked on our reroofing. The eaves trough installation through A.Clark was very excellent and Nick was friendly and helpful.
I would recommend A. Clark as an excellent choice for roofing.

First rate experience from start to finish. Our estimator was fully versed in the work, the product and the colors available and actually got up on the roof, unlike the drive by estimators. The installers were fast, skilled, polite and focused as was the inspector. Even billing was easy to deal with and understand.

They were efficient and took care of any messes and cleaned up after they left. There were no problems with garbage or debris left on my property. They were professional, and I appreciated that.

I was surprised at the end based on some additional costs that weren't included in the original estimate. To be fair, they didn't know at first. It was for some additional plywood needed for the roof. The salesperson said they would only need about 2–3 sheets. I told him I didn't want to get surprised with additional cost. Another salesperson from another company included extra plywood in their quote. A. Clark did not. They were confident we wouldn't need much, but we did. It ended up being an extra $1,000. That left a bit of a sour taste, but that is not entirely their fault. They were just doing the things needed to be done to bring the roof up to code. I just didn't want to be surprised. That is the only reason that I would be inclined not to recommend them, but their salespeople were all professional and good.

My experience having my house re-roofed by A. Clark was exceptional. My sales consultant answered all of the questions I had about materials and the work to be performed. The installation crew that arrived at my house did a great job and was careful to respect and protect my property. The work was completed quickly and the jobsite was cleaned up well. The price quoted was exactly what I paid and was very good compared to other companies. I will use A. Clark again and highly recommend them.

Our initial interactions with A Clark Roofing were excellent. A quote was provided in a timely manner, and all of our questions were answered quickly. We were concerned about protecting our new composite deck, and were told it would be covered with plywood and tarps to protect it, which we reconfirmed multiple times, including with the person who called to say that a crew was ready to start the tear down and install. However, that person made the decision (without telling us) to not use plywood, and the tarps that were used had numerous holes in them. Our deck ended up getting damaged from a falling staple gun and by asphalt staining, which could have been preventable had proper precautions been taken. We feel as though our property and our wishes were disrespected. A Clark will pay for the deck repair, but this is still very frustrating for us and is a huge inconvenience for us.

Quote was received quickly, selections were made promptly and the crew came out within two weeks to have the roof installed. This company was competitive and knowledgeable but may not be the company for your if you’d like your hand held during the decision making process such as colors, upgrades etc
