We have nothing but good things to say about Strite. Will definitely tell anyone who asks that we would use them again.
The work is exceptional, the team is responsive, good at solving problems and always positive.
This is the 2nd job where I’ve hired Strite. I knew it would get done to my satisfaction (and it did). The process was be a pleasant one and worth the money spent.
Sara did a good job keeping us updated weekly. However, we were told that Matt would be our on-site project manager, but that got switched for some reason and Ed started showing up before we realized that he was our new project manager.
Ed was good to help resolve issues. Some things he just took care of himself.
Very happy with project.
Great experience in six projects over 12-15 years.
After some extensive research, we decided on Strite for the major remodel of our newly purchased fixer-upper. We could not have been happier. Strite delivered exactly what they promised in the most professional and timely manner. From the initial design (thank you, Michael and Sara), to the construction, to the finishing touches, we were continually impressed by the efficiency and knowledge of everyone involved. As with nearly every remodel, we encountered some unexpected issues, but the team of Strite was able to quickly and efficiently deal with and resolve them. Having worked in Historic building preservation in Germany, my standards were pretty high. Strite met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Bob, Carl Jon, Jaman, Matt, and everyone else involved!
We were very impressed with the efficiency and knowledge of everyone involved. We were a little stressed, not knowing what to expect once we started demolition, but Bob and Jon Mundy were so reassuring and quick to come up with great solutions whenever we encountered a problem. It made the entire process of remodeling so much less stressful.
Strite has been around Boise for a long time and is well known for their quality. Over the years, we have seen their signs around town, spoken with friends who had used Strite.
Tried to keep costs low with new electrician subcontractor who did not deliver. But strite stepped in on a Sunday and took care of it to make good on the work.
Very professional. Loved the interim kitchen.
This was my first remodel and it was so much better than I expected.
Strite has a very efficient and effective work force. Any issues are resolved quickly and the end product is as advertised.
Strite did a great all around job!
Strite's quality of work is very good. The delivered to the letter of the contract and were open to additions along the wya if they came up. Communication is easy via email.
Previously worked with them on another home.
They said and did what they promised to do. Overall a quality job.
Internet and word of mouth
We are always pleased with the Strite Design Team. They are so knowledgeable and professional. They are a joy to have in our home and we have never had a concern with them or their subs.
If we had a concern (which we did) they were here in a very timely manner to look over the situation and do the appropriate repairs.
In our home, we know nothing about repairs, remodels or that type of thing. We know the Strite Team will take care of all things and we are worry free.
Reputation around town.
We have respect for the whole Strite Team. A pleasure to have in our home.
We had confidence in the STRITE team and appreciated their process. Our project manager was very helpful and did a lot of extra work for us at our house (fixing holes in the drywall, paint touch-ups, etc). He interacted really well with our young children and we felt comfortable having him in our home. The finished product is amazing! We love our new laundry room, shower, and mud room. It has really changed the way our house functions for us. We have some other projects we want to do in the future and we will definitely use STRITE.
Our neighbors used STRITE and were very happy with them.
I was most satisfied with the way the crews handled themselves on the job and put things together, even when the weather wasn't good.
We have an architect friend who recommended them to us.
So far, the job looks great.
I was most satisfied with how they listened. That is really important. My wife had an idea of what she wanted, and they listened to us.
I knew about them from their reputation.
They are a top-notch company.
I appreciate Strite's professionalism and impeccable organization. Everything about a project is clearly summed up in a project binder and carefully reviewed. This project book has proven to be a valuable reference tool throughout a project.
Saw a sign in the north end
The entire STRITE crew was efficient and professional. From inception to finish, we felt like we were a valued client and not just a cash cow. They listened to what we wanted and provided valuable professional advice and suggestions. They provided the initial bid at their own risk and stayed within the negotiated scope of work and costs. We would not hesitate to use STRITE again or to recommend them to others.
The load-bearing job in our attic was excellent. The steps taken to prevent the project from interfering with the rest of the house weres excellent. All the workers were courteous, pleasant, and professional.
Internet and phone book
The overview of our experience is: 1.) We're pleased with the result2.) Strite brought certain design ideas (e.g., eliminating the powder room shower) and capabilities that had major positive effects on the outcome3.) However, along the way, the project required levels of client oversight and intervention that were greater than expected ... particularly given the early investments in planning / decision-making and the substantial premiums (23% profit margin, 30% mark-up on expenditures) paid to Strite.
In light of the unknowns inherent in a comprehensive remodel, Strite developed realistic schedules kept the project moving on-pace.
Agility relative to changes and adaptations was a strength. There were no instances in which we experienced Strite as being inflexible or prescriptive. The unexpected code issue relative to powder room code issue relative sink / toilet clearance is a good example: the matter was disclosed quickly, in clear terms, and supported by a fully developed, immediately approvable solution.
Fair value: yes. But for the premium charged, the standard might appropriately be outstanding, exceptional or at least well above average.
Exclusively from an internet search of residential remodeling service providers. The web site design was clean and the content was substantive, suggesting an organization with an identity, purpose and supporting culture.
I have worked with various contractors over the years and this was definitely the most problem free project I have been involved with. I never felt I had to watch over Strite to make sure things were done correctly. Their craftmanship and attention to detail is impeccable. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and highly skilled at their job. Thank you!!
My expectations were surpassed.
Strite's communication skills and quality of work are most impressive.
Through interior designer, Tracy Cochran.
We just weren't sure about the timing in terms of getting used to their schedule, but it was not problematic for us at all. We didn't realize we weren't their only job going on at the time.
I was satisfied with the quality and the quality of the guys that they had out here, Matt was top notch.
Strite has a reputation around town here.
Strite Design and Remodel staff were professional and very patient in helping design our nearly whole house remodel. They efficiently managed the construction phase with an excellent cadre of trades people to accomplish the difficult task of converting a 55-year-old house into a modern home. We would recommend anyone planning a major remodel consider Strite Remodel and Design./vert happy with results and quality of the workmanship. We would recommend them to anyone considering a remode to give Strite a chance
Communications fell a little short of our expections during the punchlist phase. Response to our phone calls and e-mails were slower than expected. There were a number of work items for which we paid vendors directly. In these cases Strite provided estimates of costs by the job (materials and labor). One vendor did not alert us when we'd greatly exceeded the estimated cost of a job and by the time we were aware of the cost, it was too late to change our selection. If Strite has not done so, they should communicate with issue with the vendor.
We ended up with a good design because of the excellent interactions during design phase. The construction phase went well because of the friendly and courteous Strite construction staff and support personnel. With the exception of a very minor incident, it was a pleasure working with the individual trades contractors -- their expertise and care was unsurpassed. They were very conscientious about cleaning up after each day (this was mentioned and appreciated by our neighbors).
From Northend neighborhood remodel signs
I was most satisfied with their professionalism and courtesy.
I heard about STRITE design + remodel through people I work with.
Timeline was a little off.
Overall I was very pleased with Strite, professional/good quality.
I've had several projects done by Strite and have been extremely pleased with all the results. The crew's attention to detail (even when it comes to daily cleanup) was great. I appreciated the weekly email progress reports.
The quality of work done on all the projects Strite has done for me, and within a reasonable budget amount.
Knew the owner many years ago
I had nothing to compare it to.
I liked the cleanliness of the work area.
I honestly don't remember; it was 20 years ago.
I was satisfied with the appearance of the finished product inside and out.
A friend of mine whose kitchen was done by Strite design + remodel.
Strite was able to give us expert design recommendations while keeping the costs within our budget.

GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of STRITE design + remodel as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
