The furnace system (during the cold weather months) is atrociously and disturbingly loud. It has very loud and repeated cracks, booms and pops. I have had several different furnace systems in our previous homes, but never were any of them this loud and irritating. We have two bedrooms downstairs, but it would be practically impossible to sleep down there given the noise exploding in the adjacent mechanical room. Of course, we can also hear it on the main floor. The loud sound is absolutely crazy.

Maybe focus on ONE POC to get the buyers to the right vendor.

SAB is not an easy company to work with. My husband and I put money down on a house during the framing stage. We wanted to have some choice of paint colors, tile, cabinets, flooring, appliance package etc. We were told that those decisions were already made and everything was already ordered. Definitely not very flexible.

SAB was skilled and professional throughout our build and we ended up with a wonderful house! After living in our house, I can say SAB actually builds a house they would like to live in, with a lot of included features that are already upgrades. Even if you don't upgrade anything for your build with SAB, I think you would be very happy with your new home. Their communication and building process were, for the most part, exceptional.

They gave me a beautiful new home, with every item was addressed promptly, kindly and professionally. I can't say enough good things about the company.

I would recommend them for a multitude of reasons. Their responsiveness to any issues that arose was good. They were quick to respond to the few issues that arose. There were not many issues. The build quality was great. Things that happened were just minor things or things that happen as houses settle. Things were done very well.

Not only was this our first new construction, it’s our first ever home. Moving into a new development, you hear a lot of stories (typically negative) about other’s builder experiences. We were naturally a bit paranoid/cautious throughout the process. Looking back now a year later, there were stressful moments but all in all we are very happy with our home and experience with SAB. We are left feeling satisfied that when issues arose they were addressed fairly and corrected, big and small.

Our home receives many compliments. We grieve not being able to alter any feature of the house. The principal bathroom, which is next to the bedroom, is without a tub or dual shower heads. The stove top is electric rather than gas or induction. The house's price increased by $20,000 in a single day as a result of "upgrades" that weren't considered upgrades. Every single house in the vicinity saw price increases. They said that when we signed the contract for the house, the plans were already finished. I am not impressed. I asked for an induction, for instance, because there are no safety features. There are non-caulked parts, one of the boards is gone, a door is missing, and the wood floor has holes. I spent $700,000.

This was a good experience with only a few minor hiccups that are to be expected during the building process.

Sab is a great company to work with. They took good care of me and my family. They built me a spectacular house.

Purchasing our new SAB home has been the best decision we could have made. The quality of the build, the customer service is outstanding and every person that helped us has been so nice. Any issues we have had and there are always going to be some things on a new house that need fixing have been dealt with promptly by SAB. We don’t plan on moving again but if we did it would be to an SAB home. We highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying a home you won’t go wrong with SAB Homes.

The quality of an SAB home is just over the top. There is not a space not utilized. It is clear now why and how they win so many awards.

We had issues throughout our build. These issues were pertaining to the house, communication and our superintendent. These concerns were voiced in the middle of the year to higher ups at SAB with no changes. As a result, we closed on a house that was not ready to be closed. I believe every single trade has had to be out to the house, some multiple times to make repairs. Our electrical and plumbing are ongoing problems. I rate this where I do because I believe ultimately they will take care of these issues, but overall a not pleasant experience.

We loved our experience with SAB. From their design team all the through final walk through. We were kept informed throughout ever part of the building process and SAB were quick in resolving any problems that arose.

SAB just made the process very painless compared to what I was used to on a new build, even in this tumultuous climate. They had a solution for every problem we ran into.

It has been one year since we've been in the house and we've had both the 3-month and one year warranty and still do not have one of the main items on the list of things to repair completed they keep telling us they need to order the part but yet they never do. I would like someone to call and get this resolved as soon as possible.

This would be a five if we had landscaping. Other than that I have enjoyed my home.
