Areas Of Satisfaction - Communication exceeded expectations. I was living out of state during part of the construction, so I appreciated the FaceTime meetings, photos and regulator updates. I also appreciated that the design process was so thorough and how most all decisions were made prior to constructions.

We have been very pleased with Melton. The high quality employees and subs made the job as painless as possible. Highly recommend!

Areas Of Satisfaction - Wow, what a team MDB has assembled--from interior design (Haley), architecture (Clare) and the site leadership team (Gianna and Tim) to the boss (Susan) and the various subs (shout out to Rocky), we witnessed impressive professional/operational growth since our first Melton engagement 10 years ago (kitchen). In particular, we appreciated the regular, detailed meetings and supporting materials. In the renovation and build world of MDB, alignment of a client's design fantasy and the ultimate timeline and product is key--you guys knock it out of the park! Thank you.

I have recommended Melton Design Build to friends after my recent experience with them. Many people respond that Melton is too expensive for them to consider. They communicated with me well and the team communicated among themselves really well. The project designer was so knowledgeable and she far exceeded my expectations for developing a design that completely meets my needs. She really listened and translated what she heard into a super design, unique to me. The level of carpentry skills exceeded my expectations, The quality of the subcontractors exceeded my expectations. The project management during the construction phase was the best I have ever seen - no question!! Overall knowledge of the design/build field exceeded my expectations.

In the few cases when schedule constraints forced them to work with a new partner, they took extra care to monitor their progress to ensure it was up to Melton's standard.

Schedule - Schedules reflect intent but inevitably must flex when they encounter real-world constraints. Throughout the project Gianna and Tim were able to implement contingencies to maintain forward momentum. Their ability to adapt and develop solutions quickly made even the unexpected, less stressful.

Construction Quality

Construction Quality - Melton is staffed with professionals with the ability to raise craftsmanship to an art form. The project required a few site-built elements that were tricky to plan, let alone implement. In response, Gianna introduced us to Darren, a master carpenter. His ingenuity, attention to detail, and keen eye provided us with some custom woodwork that still bring a smile each time we enjoy it.

Problem Resolution

Problem Resolution - When questions, concerns, or problems surfaced, Melton addressed and resolved them. Period. This level of service extended even to support staff, where it was a pleasure to work with Selene in Accounting.

Clean & Safe - Construction is messy; it just is. With that said, the care and concern Melton exercised during the project made a huge difference at the end. Zipper walls and Ram Board are a big deal and Melton did not skimp when it came to protecting my home. Clean up at the end of each work day not only made for a more pleasant experience, it allowed the teams to more accurately assess progress and address issues.

Absolute pleasure to work with!

I worked with Adrian Wisniewski. He was the first person we spoke with, and he is the main reason we chose to work with Meltion Design Build. I did a lot of research online, and Melton Design Build was one of the few companies we chose to set up an appointment with. Some project managers just walked around, but when Adrian walked in, he asked if he needed to take off his shoes when coming into our home. I noticed his shoes were very clean, and he didn't want to mess up the customer's house.
