I used HomeStory Doors of Marin several years ago before I sold my home in Mill Valley. They did a great job, the doors really helped make the house stand out, and the house sold before the first open house for top dollar. So I moved to Kenwood, outside of Sonoma, and ordered custom-made 3-wood/mirror sliding closet doors, and a fire-rated door to the garage, along with very nice hardware. The estimate was scheduled promptly and handled professionally, and I placed the order. They communicated with me along the way as I awaited the doors to be delivered. It took about 90 days, as they had warned, due to the custom size of my floor-to-ceiling closet doors. Once the doors arrived in their warehouse, my installation was promptly scheduled. The two-man crew were polite, professional, and more than competent. They did a fantastic job, and the doors look and operate better than I ever could have imagined. Id use them again in a hearbeat.

I would not recommend home story. Sorry but the delays were a real problem. I could have ordered and hung the doors from another vendor if I had known. Done many projects, and when I talked to the owner it was basically tough luck. no complaints about the workers on site.

Due to supply chain issues it took a while for them to arrive, but now that they’re in, what a difference! Your installation crew did a good job. We’re still waiting for the mirror inserts for a couple of the doors, but pleased with the results. Two other potential clients stopped by one of your crew members in our driveway when they saw the truck.
