Areas Of Satisfaction - Gradison builds a unique house that has immediate character and stands out from other houses in the same price range. During the planning and building process they suggested style and craftsmanship ideas that made our house immediately feel like our home even before the boxes were unpacked. Also, the attention to detail seems exceptional -- this mind-set is evident with all Gradison staff members and their sub-contractors alike. This was reassuring.

Additional Comments - Gradison's selection process is well organized and appears to be somewhat unique to this business. Ann Jansons experience, talent,energy, and good humor brought irreplaceable value (and peace of mind) to the selection process of home building.

Areas Of Satisfaction - We gave our initial ideas for our addition to Gradison and with the help of their architect and Gradison's office, they helped us put a design with our space ideas. The design exceeded our expectations and included some elements (covered porch, metal roof over porch) that we really like but had not necessarily thought of. They were as concerned as we were about maintaining the integrity of the house and having the addition flow with the rest of our 1950's home. We are very pleased with the end result. They were also able to stay within the timelines for completion despite a November start date and dealing with the process through a few months of inclement weather, which made us very happy.

Additional Comments - This is our first experience building a custom home, and it was far better than we anticipated (compared to the stories we heard from everyone else we knew who had built a custom home). Both Joe and Mark are professional, genuine and flexible. They were very patient with our never-ending questions and concerns prior to and during design, and Mark was exceptional during construction - open to questions and concerns, flexible to change, almost always easy to contact and prompt to return calls for all issues. Ann guided us through the overwhelming choices for every element that brought our home to life, and she's an absolute joy to work with. When we started this process, we weren't sure what we wanted, didn't know what to build or where to start. We're not sure how it happened,but our home is exactly what we wished and perfect for us. We love it. We're grateful to Mark, Joe, Ann and everyone at Gradison Building Corp. for building our vision into a home.

Additional Comments - I was not looking forward to the whole construction process but was pleasantly surprised at the way the whole project was managed. Matt was great at communicating things to me and everyone was more than helpful with questions and decisions I needed to make. And the outcome more than speaks for itself.

I've just sent them a list of 90 day walk through items - and am sure that they'll promptly respond to them as they have responded to everything else in the past.
