My only hesitation would be price.
They are very helpful in suggesting things. The way they did the job is very pretty. The steps on the side are nice. I am very pleased and have no complaints. They even called me back after the project to check on things.
East Coast Landscape Design did an excellent job on both projects.
I would recommend East Coast Landscape Design to a friend because they do great work. They showed up on time and were very professional. East Coast Landscape Design has a great crew.
Decent workers; over-priced services
Mark and team were fantastic to work with. From the the very first meeting, to project complete every step of the way the project moved forward without incident. My neighbors have been lining up for a tour of the yard.:) I would highly recommend East Coast Landscape Design you will not be disappointed!
I find their prices are high. I found that they did not follow through with recent planting. I had them plant a bunch of plants in the ground but they did not plant them corectly. The first rain washed them away. When I contacted them the did not follow up on my complaint. For that reason, I would not recommend Coast Landscape Design.
It was excellent. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. They work on schedule. They were right on target. They finished on time, and that's where it stays. I really liked that. They did paving. They paved my new driveway. They get an A.
I think they were timely. If I had any concerns, they responded to them very quickly, which I liked. They gave me a lot of follow-up and care. They also have a quarterly newsletter they give out to their past clients, and they update you on what you should be doing this year—what to plant and things like that. They did some hardscapes too. They built a small retaining wall and extended a concrete sidewalk. I'd give East Coast Landscape Design an A.
They were very professional workers. The finished product was very nice. I've had several jobs by them, so I think I have a reasonable basis for experience. They did two jobs. One was providing soft landscapes with plantings and hardscaping with a brick sidewalk and stairs with railing. The second job was planting of hemlock/holly trees in the backyard. I would say they're A. It'd be A+, except they're a bit on the expensive side.
The quality of the work is always great. I've been using them for a long time. They did a hardscaping/landscaping project for me several years ago, and now they maintain it on an annual basis. It's always good. I get a lot of compliments about the work. I have a lot of people, even delivery people—everybody loves the work they did. It's really beautiful. I highly recommend them. I'd give them an A for sure.
The overall quality of their product, the ultimate job that they did, is very high quality. They did hardscaping for me. They did a wall, they did a walkway, and they covered my stoop. I'd give them an A.
East Coast Landscape Design showed up when they were supposed to, they did what they were supposed to, and they didn't try to gouge me. They did a paver installation and a mailbox build. They get an A+.
They've done work for me for 25 years. I like how they de-bed. Their de-beds are the top in the world; it's just beautiful. They let you be a part of the decisions. They're just nice people to work with. They come and do their job, and when they leave, it looks like a beautiful thing has happened. They've done landscaping. I have a slope in my backyard, and they landscaped the whole slope and put stone steps going up to a park behind my house. They just did this trench for my guest fireplace—beautiful job. They're an A+ all the way. They did this little trench, and the edges were as straight as their de-bedding. I've never seen a trench quite this nice.
The work they've done so far has been satisfactory. They did, principally, landscaping at my house in Washington. I've had no complaints, and I would recommend them.
We were very satisfied. They were very professional, on-time, friendly, and dependable. We were very satisfied. They did landscaping, paver, and then they also steered us to a gentleman who did a deck remodel and a pergola. East Coast deserves an A.
They were very good, on time, and very neat about everything that they did. They were very good at planning. They've done pavers before, but they just did landscaping this time. I'd give them an A+.
Mark—the owner—was great to sit down with, very patient, and walked us through everything in great detail. It was nice that the owner was so involved in the whole process. Then the guys who actually came out to do the work were really great; they walked me through everything, and explained everything to me. They included me in the process, and it was great. They did hardscaping and paver installation for me. East Coast Landscape Design gets an A.
They did what they said they were going to do, and it looks good when they are done. They added landscaping, low plants, and a tree to two sides of the house. They get an A+.
I'm very happy with East Coast Landscape Design. They showed up on time, did what we asked them to, and did a good quality job. They did a small stone patio, and previously they built a nice stone wall for us. They’re an A company.
I’d rate them A. They were very personable, answered questions, and were interested in doing the job. They landscaped under my deck, water shed, and did erosion control. I would definitely recommend them.
They didn't have quite what we were looking for, but they gave us an alternative, and it was better than what we were going to do. They did yard drainage. I’d give them an A because I thought it was very nicely done. It took a while to schedule it, but once it was scheduled, they were there. We’ve already recommended them. We've talked to different people when we showed them what they did, and we told them if you’re interested, we have a guy.
I liked the expertise they showed and the quality of the service. They did the job exactly the way we agreed upon. For example, the grass they put in has lasted through the winter and still looks good. They’ve done demolition and concrete replacement for the driveway and sidewalk and new front yard sod. I would give them an A+. I would recommend them to anybody, including family members.
I'd rate them an A.
They still haven't returned my phone call. Apparently, I still owed them a few more bucks and there was some work that they still needed to do and so I tried calling them and that was a year ago. And I haven't heard back from them, so I'm guessing they just washed their hands of it. The work that they did was OK. We asked them to take out all the weeds and a week later they all grew back because they didn't put down a layer like most companies would do—a tarp or cardboard so that weeds wouldn't grow back. It looked nice, but when you started to dig into it, it was half-assed. They put stonework out front and they didn't put any glue down. And all the stones were loose and now they are already falling down, so I had to call someone else out to glue the stones down. It was neutral. It looked nice. You had eight guys trying to finish a $4, job in one day, and they rushed it. I would grade them a C. My wife had drawn up some designs that she wanted to be done. And this was the owner or whoever came out to do the estimate, and she asked him if he wanted the sketching and he said no. He was basically going to come out and do what he wanted. Some was OK and some wasn't; it was rushed. They were on time and worked hard. I'm not going to recommend them.
