We had a discrepancy between the sales man and office staff. It wasn't pleasant.

Was on time easy to schedule and any questions I had they were answered right away.

My wife and I are senior citizens. Finding a quality roofer was a daunting task until we met Matt Lentz. He walked us through the process and alleviated multiple concerns. He patiently answered our questions with sincerity and respect, especially those dealing with My Safe Florida Homes. When Matt's crew arrived on schedule at eight in the morning, they were able to finish the entire job by about seven at night. Subsequently, there was no damage to the property and cleanup was exceptional. We have had a couple of good rains since the job was done in April, and there is no indication of any problem whatsoever.

Installation Crew

Installation Crew - The workmen found areas where the fascia was rotten or in poor condition. They documented the damage, fixed the fascia, and reapplied the white aluminum fascia covering at an extremely good cost.

Shingle Appearance

Shingle Appearance - The Roofing Company used Owen Corning shingles, a top grade product.

Problem Resolution

Problem Resolution - Our roof needed new secondary water resistance to bring it up to code for proper hurricane protection. Matt's company did exactly that.

Value Received

Value Received - The Roofing Company provided a quote which was definitely reasonable.

Everything about this company is professional and personable. I was never pressured and felt comfortable with their representative, Evan.

They are true to their word, they are very hard workers, they did everything they said they would, they cleaned my entire yard and gave us a nice new roof.

This company is really top notch. Honest, helpful and the team who did the work were very nice and considerate of my husband and I and our dogs. They cared that we were happy with each step.

The Roofing Company of Tampa Bay did a phenomenal job on our roof. Professional staff with reliable communication and quality craftsmanship resulting in an overall great roofing experience. Highly recommended.

100% WOULD RECOMEND.

We loved the constant comm Step By Step communication and service we received from the Roofing Company.

As a retired certified general contractor, I know exactly what it takes to replace a roof properly. When I requested a quote, I provided detailed specifications—including the installation of MGT hurricane double straps on every truss to meet strict safety standards. I worked primarily with the owner, Matt Lentz, who sat down with me to discuss current roofing trends and product options.

I asked Matt a simple but powerful question: “If I were your 74-year-old mother, and I told you what I needed and how the products had to perform, what would you recommend?” Without hesitation, Matt gave me his honest opinion. After reviewing his recommendations and the warranties, I knew he was the right contractor—not just because of the products, but because of the integrity and passion behind his words.

Matt’s passion for the products he recommended was unmistakable. As we talked through options, I could see in his eyes and hear in his voice that he genuinely believed in every word he said. His confidence wasn’t rehearsed—it came from experience and conviction. As someone who knows construction inside and out, I can tell when someone’s just selling versus when they truly stand behind their work. Matt wasn’t just making suggestions; he was sharing what he’d choose for his own family. That kind of sincerity is rare—and it’s exactly why I trusted him.

His pride in his work and confidence in his business were unmistakable. And the fact that I was speaking directly with the owner—not a commission-based salesperson—made all the difference.

Very professional from start to finish of project. Would highly recommended them.

We had Tampa Bay Roofing install a brand-new roof on our home, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Having only lived in Florida for about three years, we’ve heard plenty of horror stories from neighbors about contractors in general—especially after hurricanes or flood damage—where promises weren’t kept. Tampa Bay Roofing proved to us that there are still reputable companies that deliver exactly what they say they will, and then some.

We originally received a quote a year and a half ago and knew right away this was the company we wanted to work with. Due to a personal situation, we had to delay the project, but we kept their number handy. When we called back, our original salesperson had retired, and Joshua stepped in seamlessly. Like any homeowner, we wanted to make sure we were getting the best value possible, and Tampa Bay Roofing worked with us in a fair and professional way.

The job itself was impressive—when they say they’re bringing a crew, they mean it! Around 20 guys arrived and got right to work. Yes, it’s loud, but the company prepped us extremely well with clear instructions and follow-ups so we knew exactly what to expect. The crew worked hard, stayed on schedule, and the entire installation was completed with care.

One small suggestion: when the crew chief came by first thing in the morning, it would’ve been helpful if he reminded us to turn off our A/C units and pool pump since they were covering those areas. Not a big issue at all, just a friendly input that would have made the process even smoother for us as homeowners.

What impressed us the most were the added improvements we didn’t even realize we were getting—such as venting along all the peaks (our home never had that before), upgraded glass skylight that is quieter and more energy efficient, and an extra-thick coating on our patio lanai. Their cleanup was also top-notch; they left the property spotless.

Throughout the project, they documented everything with photos—hundreds of them—which they emailed to us afterwards. This gave us full visibility into the repairs and the extra wood that was used, which made us feel confident about the quality of the work.

Any small issues that came up were handled quickly and thoroughly. I could text the project manager, and within hours someone was on-site to resolve it, with follow-up the very next day. All permits, inspections, and warranty paperwork were handled quickly and professionally. Even the wind mitigation inspection was coordinated for us without hassle.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our new roof. Tampa Bay Roofing exceeded our expectations in both workmanship and customer service, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional roofing company in Florida.

The

Communication was great overall - I was never uncertain of schedule or what was to happen when, with TRC proactively reaching out and sticking to their schedule. I've had a lot of contract work done on this house and this was by far the simplest and easiest to work with. I also appreciate the friendliness of the Matt, Jena, the crew, and the rest of the office staff that I spoke with. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other bids, and the new roof looks beautiful!

The purchase process was seamless. The work was completed ahead of initial estimate. The final result is high quality.

Crew was efficient, friendly and professional. Job was well done.

Quick, easy

Have been recommending to friends and family

constantly staying in touch and with concerns. just recommend u to a neighbor today getting quotes

I was pleased from the first contact with Matt to discuss the proposal all way to the installation and final wrap up.

They keep me informed about the complete timeline of the project. All target dates were met from the delivery of supplies to the completion of the install. The project management team also were very at tentative to address any concerns we had. Indeed the team was very professional in any dealing we had with them.

Of course! Feel free to contact me for testimonial.

Super professional team

YES! Great job, great company. It was a pleasure to work with Matt and his team and I would recommend them to any HOA or private homeowner in need of a new roof. They replaced roofs on 7 buildings for us and the project was painless (no complaints from owners or renters, not easy thing to achieve these days) smooth and completed ahead of schedule. Top quality from a top team.

Work was completed on time. Quality looks good. Time will tell.
