Scott’s Roofing has been serving Lake and Central Florida counties since 1973. The company is an original, second-generation family business, owned and operated by Tommy Scott. Tommy has owned Scott’s Roofing since 1989, having worked with his father (and former owner) Bob Scott for many years. His vast experience of the roofing industry and strong community ties make him a logical and trustworthy business choice. In keeping with the family business, Tyler Scott, Tommy’s son, has joined the company as supervisor and lead estimator, along with Tommy. Tyler brings a cutting-edge work ethic, expert knowledge and a genuinely humble manner. Sarah Scott Varnadore, Tommy’s daughter, is the office manager. She’s the first person you will speak to when you call our office. She is available to answer all your questions Monday-Friday 9am -5 pm.

The roofing materials, workers and quality of the work done on my roof is tremendous! The administration of the details has room for improvement. Getting the final permit signed off by the City of Mt. Dora has been onerous due to not having a good knowing a provisional inspection needed to be done. I feel like I am required to follow up on the status of the final permit sign off, obtaining the roofing warranty, obtaining the warranty for the solar exhaust fans on the roof, as opposed to someone from their office keeping me updated on the status of these things, or just providing them to me in a timely fashion. The details of the administrative operation need to be tightened.

I particularly like working with Bryce, he is extremely confident. I've had several conversations with him he always returns my calls immediately. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. My roof of job was done in one day and Bryce coordinated everything to certification in record time.

Scotts was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Property was continuously cleaned of roofing debris. Everything was delivered on day of installation. Dumpster was set in place and removed on same day so we were not inconvenienced by not having access to our garage and car.
