The roof looks good

From the very beginning I knew Rick Simmet was very experienced in all aspects of roofing, and was trustworthy. I had already talked with other roofers who were marketers and had all sorts of gimmicks to reduce an exaggerated price. Or young sales people who had a basic training on what to look for in roof to show how bad it is, but who had not ever helped lay a roof.
Specialty Home Products has been laying roofs for 45 years. Rick worked his whole life tearing up and laying new roof. He also offerred to repair a small leak for free before the winter closed in, and then would install a new roof in the spring. I chose Specialty without knowing the roof price. I wanted to work with a professional who is trustworthy. When I got the quote it was less than all the other 3 quotes. I got the best of all worlds. Rick always arrived when he said he would, not too early, never late.

Excellent service, honest and keep us informed about scheduling. It was a holiday week so the extra days were understandable.

They do what they say they're going to do and keep you informed every step of the way. Their quality of work is excellent, and they stand behind it. They schedule and finish jobs in a very timely manner and keep you informed throughout the process. Their prices are fair and competitive, and the quality is hard to beat.

Have the crew use ladder stabilizers to avoid gutter and gutter filter damage so ladders do not rest directly on gutters.

Replacing a roof is a huge project. The crew from Speciality Home Products worked morning till night for 4 days. The crew stayed so busy. The communicated with me to cause as little inconvenience as possible. A neighbor told me he used a different roofing company and that they had left a mess in his driveway and yard. I was amazed at how little residue was left after this project. I have much respect for the men who worked on my house. Thank you.
