I will definitely recommend Semper Solaris. I do think you can improve your communications between the customer and your office after the project has started. I understand that you use subcontracts, but we were not aware of who was going to show up to do the work. The roofer showed up with a couple of pickup trucks with no signage and a dump truck with a different company name. They did good work, but some communication ahead of time would have helped. Same with the solar installer. We just assumed they were with Semper Solaris, but their trucks had no Semper Solaris signs. They also did great work.
I was ecstatic with the outcome of my roof and solar. Semper Solaris has been very helpful and accomodating with my request and needs. Kudos to the people i worked with to make this project possible.
Horrible!
The only thing that bothered me was the communication between the primary manager and the team.
Entire process was well organized and the project managers were easily accessible for any questions. The installation team was excellent.
Unfortunately, from start to finish, with regard to the roofing installation, they did not manage their subcontractors at all. They subcontracted out to a company called Royalty Roofing that treated my home with utter disrespect. The mantra that they preach and claim on their website, that all of their employees will treat their home as if it were their own, and that was definitely not the case. I was not aware that they would be subcontracting out the installation of the Owens Corning to a third party, Royalty Roofing. They never disclosed that.
The workmanship was great. I would have asked more questions during the contract. I wish I could understand the contract more to understand the two types of Ridge caps.
We were never told that they contract out their work. When the roofers arrived it was a company we had never heard of. We were very clear when we hired them that the selling point for us was one company doing the solar and the roof. The salesman was not honest about this.
Work was done, and the quality was fine. Right now, they are transporting my information so I can switch over.
Customer Service is A-1; I have already recommended two friends, and will continue to do so!
more responsible subcontractors
Politeness, knowledgeable, quick
your a marketing company that poses as a construction company
I have recommend Semper Solaris in the past.
Not transparent enough. Slow scheduling with last minute feedback. Too bureaucratic. Too slow.
I felt like they went above and beyond the call of duty. They did a good job!
Your project manager was not ethical and was not good to work with. He lied and is not very good with customers.
Their follow-up and communication are lacking regarding the project.
Professional team with outstanding communication skills and great customer care.
The advertisement doesn't really reflect what you are going to get. Advertisement shows that they are a private company, which it is, but they operate when mostly subcontractors. The contractors that I had were being vetted, and they did a very bad job with the first roof.
Not at this time, I do see walkers stopping to look
Was not proactively informed that work would be subcontracted. Expected the military veteran employees of Semper Solaris that are featured in their TV commercials. Both roof & solar were subcontracted and we had quality/installation issues with both projects.
The work done by the workers was excellent. The office management and communication were horrible and led to delays.
The communication for this project was not great.
The work was well done, but the cleanup is not as well done.
