They were very professional and very understanding. I was going through a difficult time with my sister, who was ill and ended up passing away. The supervisor was the most helpful and considerate person I've ever met. He dealt with the insurance for me, so that I didn't have to do much. They did a great job, and the house looks great. I had wind and hail damage. Everyone was very good and very nice. They left the place clean and neat. There were no problems. In particular, Ian was like a saint to me. He got things done that would have taken me a lot of time and effort that I didn't have. I really appreciate everything they have done. They were very considerate and helpful.

Overall, they were good. There may have been a little lack of communication.

Gotcha Covered Contracting made the entire process easy and painless. The job was done right, and they even resolved problems from the original roofer such as replacing damaged boards and sealed areas that were left vulnerable. Ian James, Shawn Hunter and the entire roofing crew were great.

The staff was friendly and professional. It was easy to contact them throughout the planning process. The crew worked very hard and skillfully. My roof looks great.

There are so many things that they said they would do, that they didn't do. They said when they finished the roof, they would fix both downspouts and clean out the gutters, but they only fixed one. I also have nails everywhere.

After all was said and done, and the rose colored glasses came off, I realized I could have found a much better and more affordable company. From a foot through a roof before the job, to being told more money is needed after the job… I see now it was probably not my best judgment of a company. I am happy with how my roof turned out, but after being promised that they would deal with the insurance company and it would be “nothing for me to worry about”, I ended up being the one that fought with the insurance company to get more. I was the one that dealt with all the adjusters. All to get them more money to a job that could have been done for 1/3 less by another contractor. The install crew didn’t speak a full sentence of English, which made it difficult to check on any potential issues or status updates. If this is the case, then a project manager should be on every site to explain what’s going on when the homeowner wants to know what’s going on. That all aside, I have been getting calls and messages months after, asking where their money is…. when I have proof that our contract was fulfilled 100% to the penny. After talking recently with another customer of Gotcha in the area, it appears they do this quite often and try to collect extra money. I would just do your research. Some people Gotcha works for, some they don’t.
