We interviewed 5 different contractors and Certified Roofing Specialist's was right in the middle cost wise but I felt that their expertise and attention to detail for our project was far superior than other contractors. They were not pushy and didn't talk down any other contractor. They really listened to us and provided multiple options regarding types of roof material and the removal and reinstallation of our existing solar panels. We were undecided initially on a couple of roof shingles and Certified Roofing Specialists quickly provided several addresses that we could see to make our decision. Other contractors would only provide that information after we signed a contract which was disconcerting to me. Also, Certified Roofing Specialists very quickly stated that they included getting permits for both the roof and solar reinstallations with our city.

I was impressed by the quality of the roof, overall look, and especially the quick turnaround on the project. However, there was a lot of cleanup including many nails around the property and several large chunks of roofing debris in the garage. Also I found some dry white paint splatters in areas nearby where the wood panels had to be replaced (due to rot) and painted. Thus I'm unsure if I will reccommend Certified Roofing Specialists in the future.

This company was our 4th quote and by far gave the best price. The description of the roofing and insulation product and process was clear and helpful in making our decision. The work was done quickly and the work area was kept clean. I would work with this company again.
