The best solution would be to remove the existing shower base and install one that was properly set up to drain. There are different solutions depending on what you have existing there currrently. What kind of material is the shower base?

Unfortunately it sound like your shower pan was installed incorrectly. Im afraid it will most likely have to be removed to start over again.

Not sure that anything will work at this time. That's usually addressed at time of installation.

You might want to look into AB2299 for the state of California. Add additional living area and raise the value 160k-400K to all R1 Properties. We build these for a living and are seeing a 2% return rate on your investment.
