Jim is a seasoned pro, and has great knowledge of the products he uses on his projects. We loved that we could visit his showroom and see all options/brands of decking and railing etc., available. These were not just small samples, but full size boards which Jim cut into 2’ sections for us to take home and “live with” as we made our selections. The crew that came to our home were respectful, skilled craftsmen who kept the job site super neat and clean, patiently answered the many questions we had and exemplary work! We had Outdoor Solutions replace our treated wood decking and railing with composite decking and aluminum railing, They knew exactly what needed to be done and made some suggestions that improved the project and saved us some money. We are very happy with the results and are looking forward to using the deck next summer. Our deck used to be a eyesore, now it's an asset.

Our yard was a challenge to work in because of tree roots, but the team knew what to do and there was no time lost. We found this company to provide very good quality work for a fair price. We appreciated the way they interacted with us, helped us through every step. We talked with three builder and got three bids. Outdoor Solutions Inc. was competitive, but not cookie cutter like the other two bidders -- who were mostly, take it or leave it. We felt listened to and treated fairly and honestly by this company. We LOVE our new deck and so happy we worked with Outdoor Solutions Inc.

Our cedar deck was showing its age and needed painting, but we had set aside some money to update the bathrooms as our next project. But Spring 2018 was starting so we thought maybe we should have the deck changed over to the low-maintenance PVC type and never paint or stain again. Then my wife started reminiscing about the screened-in porch in her childhood home. So I went on Angie's List and called the company that had the highest number of five-star ratings. It turns out I was talking to Jim, the owner. We made an appointment for him to come to the house and take a look at the current deck. When he showed up, we clicked very quickly. He understood what we couldn't quite express, that our hope was to have a relaxing screened porch where we could sit outside without the hot sun and without any bugs. Jim started throwing out a bunch of good ideas on the best way to get that, and in the end was convincing enough that I decided to wait for his bid before calling anyone else. He just came across as a guy we could trust. Long story short, he proved to be exactly that, and in a short time we had the plans mapped out and the costs estimated and we look forward to enjoying the new deck and porch. I was so convinced he was the right guy and completely trustworthy that I didn't bother getting any further bids. We had to wait our turn since he had a lot of customers, but it wasn't a long wait, and once they got started the job went quickly. He has a great crew who showed up early and worked late five days a week (and an occasional Saturday) until it was done. It turned out to be better than we had imagined, maybe because porch construction has evolved and Jim suggested some nice touches. The best are the huge 8' x 8' screens floor-to-ceiling and side to side which give us a mostly unobstructed view of our yard. The porch is also wired with electricity and has a ceiling fan. We are very pleased with the end result, and with all the interactions with Jim and his people throughout the process. Very highly recommended.

Excellent craftsmanship and great people to work with. Our job was essentially the conversion of a current wood deck to one that is made of composite materials and is now maintenance free. The job also included expansion of the deck surface. In the design and construction, the team paid attention to detail.

I would rate that a 3.5.

I was very dissatisfied and don't think other people should do business with Outdoor Solutions. The project was quoted at two weeks and took seven for completion. The crew that they sent to my house needed to be fired and replaced after several weeks of work. Much of the work the first crew did had to be torn down and rebuilt. There was alcohol consumption on the job site at my home without my knowledge. I would encourage anyone inclined to do future work with Outdoor Solutions to get a hard schedule worked into the contract. My complaints to the owner of Outdoor Solutions fell upon deaf ears.

They had great quality. However, they lacked in the area of communication.
