I have a problem making friends, mostly because either the wife doesn't get along with my wife, or the husband is a tool, or in some cases the kids that they have are nightmares, I mean, there are so many variables..and then if I try to make friends with single folks, guy, girl, or whatever, then that can open up all sorts of questions and potential issues…but in the event a friendship actually occurs, well then yes, Allen will be first on the list.

In 2017, our family home was lost in the Thomas Fire, but out of that devastation and sadness came our later association with Allen Construction. We now marvel at our good fortune. From the very outset and through the entire process, the management and supervision of our project by the Allen Team, headed by our Project Manager Daniel Mault and our on-site Superintendent, Mr. Richard McLaughlin, was remarkable. Every phase of construction was planned, organized, clearly communicated, and decisively dispatched. We especially appreciate that the Allen Team uses their experience to establish long-term relationships and contract with other highly-qualified professionals, so providing both superior workmanship and support of the local community. Now as we settle into our new home, we gaze about in wonder and admiration, noticing anew the myriad architectural features, the exquisite design, the careful attention to detail, the superb craftsmanship and construction. Indeed, it is Allen Construction who led to the extremely fortunate connection with our talented architect, Mr. Tom Henson of the firm Becker, Henson, Niksto Architects. The close relationship between the architectural firm and Allen Construction ensured Mr. Henson’s consultation through every detail of planning, design, and construction. Not only did the Allen Team prepare a detailed and accurate replacement cost estimate, they were willing to communicate with our insurance adjuster. The knowledge, experience and integrity of Allen Construction ensured that their presentation, from the contractor's perspective, was forceful and effective.

We couldn't be happier with Allen Construction. They are exceptionally nice people, and very professional. They not only did a great job rebuilding our house after a major mudslide, but they expertly navigated the complicated permitting and inspection processes. The reconstruction of damaged areas and the remodeling on other parts of the house were seamless.

Allen construction restored my mud damaged home in very difficult conditions. They also accommodated endless insurance company demands. Some of my neighbors were "fired" by their contractors due to the burden of insurance hassles. Allen Construction absorbed this overhead and were remarkably patient with the bank's payment "schedule" (more like non-payment). I cannot recommend them more highly. The most important part of working with Allen Construction was the integrity of each person in my home. Matthew Caliguire, Ian Cronshaw, Alain, Zach and countless subcontractors were all trusted and proved themselves every day.
