I was disappointed that they weren't able to come and actually do the complete job. They had to walk away and then come back. I was responsible for the contractors to get it ready.
My only concern is that I think P.J. Fitzpatrick got some glue on the floor titles and toilet seats, and I can't get it out. It is clear, but you can feel it, which is why I rated this a 4.
The folks that put it in, they do good work, they are polite gentleman, and the work looks good. The problem was that the adhesives had a horrible smell. I am still dealing with it, and I am still running the air purifiers and venting fans, as well. They did come and try to get rid of the smell by reinstalling two of the walls, scraping out the old adhesive, and letting me smell the new one. We all agreed that the first batch of adhesive was probably not good, because it still hadn't cured when they came back a week later, and the smell coming off it was foul. Unfortunately, the smell had gotten into the raw wood behind the shower walls, and I don't know how that stuff works, but I have learned a whole lot since then. I have done a lot of research, and that smell was migrating to my front hall closet and bedroom closet, which both share a partial wall with that shower stall, and that smell permeated. I had to clear out all the clothes from my front closet. I actually started washing them all in batches. The bedroom closet door was open, so the smell didn't get to the clothes, but I did remove the clothes, and none of that has been restored, and it has been over three weeks. So, it's a mixed bag. I have trouble getting the person most responsible for making these decisions about what to do next to call me back. He has never called me back after the second installation. It has been over a week and a half. Now, I just got my first finance notice yesterday, when I thought it was going to be the 12-month interest-free, which we all see on television every day, all day long. I am not bragging here, just saying, my credit score is between 800 and 850, so that cannot be the reason. I am now waiting, today, for a call back from their finance department to find out what happened here. So, I am having difficulty with this installation. I don't know what else to say. I am unhappy to be having to share all this negativity, but it is my reality right now. Someone who is 66 years old, I am visually impaired and have other health issues, and this is not how I expected this to go. I am just trying to keep my composure and see what can be done. There is one other thing about the adhesive. I have been doing a lot of research, and AI is not 100% correct, but what I have learned is quality of adhesive matters in terms of these off-gassing odors, which I describe as a cat urine smell. AI assures me that that is the common response that people have to this: the off-gassing in the second stage of the off-gassing, first off-gassing is a vinegar smell, which is not bad, it is okay, two days, and it is gone. I have learned that I am in a condo, that it could be that they need to re-look at their condo installation process, because I understand that condos do no vent as well as single-family homes, and it could be that that is also contributing to the problem, which is a structural issue, and so maybe they need to approach this differently going forward whether it is some kind of additional ventilation they provide, fans, or odor absorbers. I am not sure what, but that is what my research has shown me about why I am probably experiencing an unusual problem like that.
Their work was excellent! They left the home in better shape than when they got there. Everything is beautiful and very professional.
The service was great! Everything was great! Everyone was awesome!
They were very proficient and did what they were supposed to. They did it in the time allotted and I have no complaints with the company.
I'm unsure whether the service was worth the extra expense. I have nothing to compare it with, since I'm not using another company.
Quality and very timely work.
