Feinmann is an award-winning design/build firm, specializing in kitchen and bath remodels, room additions, and whole house renovations. From listening to our clients over the past 20 years, we have learned what matters most when it comes to making major home improvements - in short, they look for ingenious design, a well-articulated process, superb craftsmanship, responsive service, and the best value for the cost. That is why we have built a complete range of in-house services, from expert planning all the way through fabrics and furnishings, around exactly these requirements. And, even when a particular project is complete, we are committed to enhancing our relationship through on-going education, acting as a sounding board for design and remodeling issues, and helping address the hands-on maintenance needs of our clients.
GuildQuality customer satisfaction surveys enable homeowners to rate their contractor on a scale of zero to four (with zero being the worst and four being the best) in all sorts of categories. Our members can publish a summary of those answers here on their profile page, displaying a bar for as many or as few questions as they like. The score for each category indicates the percentage of survey respondents who answered a three or four to that particular question.

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
Kris Beder had wonderful, innovative ideas to solve problems as they came up during the project. And he did wonderful, meticulous work throughout.
This was one of the most important aspects - we had ideas for design that Barney could envision and brought out visions we did not yet have. Kyle would balance our personal "extreme" vision concepts with what was actually practical - and this was reassuring. We always knew that the design and workmanship would be excellent, and we never were concerned that the outcome would be anything less than what we had hoped and dreamed
This was very important when "one of us" became hung up on picking out a paint color to go with the furnishings....after many paint samples and attempts, it was the in house team that saved the day.
1. Kyle Dube: Excellent Project Manager. Extremely and consistently professional - above and beyond.2. Kris Beder: Excellent Lead Carpenter. Excellent attention to detail and design conscious, with exceptional creativity and problem solving.3. Barney Maier: Senior Architect and excellent design person. Worked closely with us from his office as well as actually coming to our house to get a personal feel for the space and discuss various options for how to utilize the space best.
by this point a few things have gone wrong. I strongly feel that this is inevitable in life and that the only thing that can be reasonably expected to be fully in your control is your own reaction. The reactions by staff at Feinmann has been impeccable. Their professional attitude and dedication to craftsmanship, up to this point, has given me confidence that these issues, both small and large, will be corrected without a fuss and made right. That is a good feeling.
Feinmann was a pleasure to work with, bringing a responsive and experienced team that was a true partner in our whole-house renovation & addition project. We're deeply appreciative of everyone that contributed to our challenging home transformation (during the snowiest winter on record), and especially want to recognize Steve Prittie and Dave Ramirez for going above and beyond in their dedication and attention to detail.
We were particularly interested in a design/build approach and found that Feinmann's level of quality and thoughtful design, as well as strong local presence, were a perfect match. Their Renovation Workshop was also very valuable in outlining a transparent and helpful roadmap toward planning a rewarding remodeling experience.
We love our new space! We decided to move out while the work was being done (kitchen, mud area, powder room, master bath.) We have dogs and I have dust allergies so it was easier for us. Feinmann stayed on budget and let us know our options. We decided to spend a little more in certain areas, but there were no budget surprises. Toward the end it does feel as though the finish work and punch list items take a bit longer, but in reality Feinmann was very responsive and any small thing was addressed in a timely manner. They never make you feel like you are being a pain! E.g., any big project has tweaks at the end -- a cabinet door adjustment or light fixture. The work crew picked up after themselves and the house was given a top to bottom cleaning. I feel like the money we spent was well worth it and the project managed appropriately. We had weekly meetings to go over completed items with the project manager, which we really appreciated.
