I suggest you get everything nailed down before the job gets started. This is the fourth or fifth job we've had done with them. It was done right. It just has to be nailed down upfront, or you will have issues later.
The salesman would not quote what I wanted, I wanted him to include the replacing clearly damaged wood/window (the bottom of the window is rotted and falls apart - due to previous 'patching work) and he continued to quote these would be addressed/patched as needed. Been down that road beforeI had the roof replaced 2 years ago and the project mgr was on site regularly and kept me informed. I have placed repeated calls to my proj mgr on siding and no response. We are now 3 weeks into the job and its partially complete with no of idea of when it will be finished. The siding by the window which needs replacing is just wrapped with Hardie Wrap (no siding) and we have had several storms. Screen clips were removed when molding was replaced and they don't have the replacement clip on hand so the screens are 'dangling', light fixture was removed but the mount bracket was lost so its not reinstalledThere is confusion among the contractors Dr Roof uses as they say the siding guys will do X and the siding guys say the painters will do it. Where is the proj Mgr??? The work is done very well but remains incomplete at this time - they use contractors not employees -just like Home Depot/Lowes
I found Dr Roof's representatives to be extremely professional. They made working with them on every step of this process a pleasure. Their price was right and the work was done in an outstanding and timely manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their home.
Thousands for the first repair that didn't fix the leak. Then more money for another round of repairs. Did not expect this from this company.
